We got to use their facilities during periods of bad weather. That'll be every week since Christmas then apart for Feb 17th when the sun shone for a day.

Looking at his arms, he appears to have spent some time in the gym whilst recuperating Could this be a sign that he's been told to bulk up a touch, so he's better equipped to withstand some of the horrendous treatment he's been getting from opposition players? He's not been getting any help from the officials, and I'm sure I remember DC alluding to this in past interviews, so it could well be that. As long as it doesn't affect that blistering pace of his, it can only be a good thing. I'm really looking forward to seeing him back soon, I don't think there's been anyone as unlucky as him with injuries at County.

Hmmm, just thinking about players out on loan - things have not been going too well for Quigley at Rochdale.
Ben Barclay has been playing a fair bit recently for Carlisle and scored a goal recently.
Ethan Ross has not been appearing recently for York, although he has played for them 31 times this season. I imagine an injury perhaps?
Ethan Pye seems to have been playing regularly for Gateshead, 44 appearances according to their website and player of the month in Jan.
Isn't Ollie Crankshaaw back at EP now?
I think that just leaves Cody Johnson and Keane Barugh who went out on loan in January to Banbury United, for whom Cody seems to have been playing fairly often "he's been absolutely fantastic for 17, 18 years old" according to their manager Andrew Wing. I couldn't find a reference to Barugh on their website however.

Looks like Keane Barugh joined FC United of Manchester in March on loan to the end of the season - 9 apps for them so far.

Good update AH. Cody is playing at NLN level and Keane at NPL Glad to hear Cody is well thought of at Banbury. Yes Ollie is back with us as Motherwell sent him back. Interesting to see if he is still with us next season.

Yes it's nearly retained list time and I suspect that, even if County don't go up, DC will want to ring some changes.
I've banged on for ages about needing another big man up front but I suspect that Quigley may not be that man because, I suspect, he may not fit DC's template for 2023/4. If so he goes with best wishes from me, a very promising signing but it didn't really work out.
Crankshaw may also be on his way and I wonder a bit about Ben Barclay who seems well thought of at Carlisle so maybe that could be a good move for him.
Cody Johnson and Keane Barugh will probably stay with County but maybe go on loan to get experience again. I think Ethan Ross is under contract to 2024 so I imagine he will stay but may also go on loan again. As for Ethan Pye I really don't know enough about him to form an opinion.
Of the older players in the squad I suspect that Phil Bardsley may go and I suspect that the increasingly injury prone Sarcevic may go (don't get me wrong: if his fitness was sorted out I'd definitely want to keep him)

Ethan Pye was Gateshead's Players' Player of the Season. A really good season's experience in the NL by the sounds it and he finished it off with a goal, making the Vanarama Team of the Week in the process! Well done to him.

I wonder if there is a place for him at County (in the future).

For Gazz, and everyone else too! Great news. That's fantastic to see, Duds, cheers! He's got the whole of the Summer and a full pre-season to get right on it for next season - that's going to be like bringing in a new, top-drawer signing! Brilliant news.
