listening on pure, and we've equalised through what seemed to be a dodgy penalty - scott spencer ducking in to head and getting a kick.

gone mad now. they scored the pen and in a melee afterwards, glover managed to get himself a straight red, so presumably a three game ban. the ref blew up as soon as we kicked off again, so it's two points thrown away really.

Well i'm Home!!! - Not many games i get to say that!!
Well to be honest at half time i would have taken a point all day long as we were so poor. Lowestoft was playing the ball on the deck and was passing it the county midfield as if the where plant pots!
The first penalty to Lowestoft was a silly one to give away with a push in the Lowestoft's players back when the ball was running safetly into Hurst's hands.
Lowestoft was far the better team in the first half with Hurst's much more the busier keeper out of the two.
Second half started off not much better for county and they seemed consent to keep by passing the midfield with hoof balls.
County won a penalty when Spencer just gets to the ball first and takes a boot from the Lowestoft player who was trying to clear the ball.
We looked a little better with the introduction of Ryan and Glover moving into the midfield.
Then with the game just drifting away Spencer picks ups the ball and scores a Wonder goal from outside the area.
Lowestoft then go 3 upfront for the minutes of injury time and for me Lowestoft got a soft penalty after a corner wasnt cleared.
Handbags then followed before the game restarted with Glover being shown two yellow cards.
ALSO the Chilli and Curry was all sold out by half time.
Hope everyone had a safe trip and enjoyed the delights of Lowestoft and hopefully this game will be scheduled for early next season when the weather is still warm.

Staying with the Family Macc in Suffolk tonight, so my Match Report will follow after our return home later tomorrow.
Despite the huge disappointment of conceding, and dropping points, at the death, I have to say that, on the balance of play (and given the dubious nature of County's own penalty), the draw was a fair result. I was slated by one or two Twitter-users for tweeting that - but, hey, I'm a Libran...
Definitely two yellow cards, rather than a straight red one, for Glover. He actually picked up his first in the immediate aftermath of the late penalty, when we in the Press Box were under the impression that Wilkinson had been booked.
The Chilli and Curry Van was gastro-Heaven! Thanks for the recommendation, dpc - and sorry that supplies had run out by the time you paid it a visit!

my brother was cursing - he'd got a burger from another kiosk and didn't see the chilli van until later, despite me advising him in advance.
i suppose there are still people with lingering hopes of the play-offs. getting agitated about taking a point away, and seven out of the last nine is a bit pointless. it's not what we're doing now that's costing us (although conceding so late's a bit gutting); rather what we did in most of november and december, and then the three straight defeats the other week. i'm not happy that we'll be in the sixth tier again next season either, but we have no divine right to get out of any division, and we have undoubtedly improved to the point that we shouldn't have to be taking on a whole new squad again (like we have in so many recent close seasons). rather, we just need to make a couple of significant improvements -most notably in midfield- to then have an expectation of being at least a play-off side next season.
