Sounds like a good signing judging by the reactions on Twitter! Hopefully he'll fill the gap left by Stopforth and Osbourne very well... Regarding his disciplinary record, as long as he stays on the pitch and avoids suspensions I don't care how many yellows he picks up. We could do with an extra bit of bite and gamesmanship in our midfield!
Good luck to the lad!

Pleased to hear this. After a bit of a stuttering start, Jimmy looks to have settled in well - and has bags of potential. Quite happy with this. He was my MoM on Saturday. He quietly gets on with it and looks to be one of the fittest at the club

Ball is mobile, has decent technique and is useful on set plays. Perfect Jim Gannon player, glad to see he is going to be given a chance to develop.

There's been a definite improvement shown through the season and he's certainly become more important to the team. As said, he has a range of existing attributes (from his height to his passing and movement) which will come to the fore even more once the areas of physical strength and consistency get ironed out. Given he's only 21, he has strong potential to become a very difficult player to play against.

Jimmy Ball has improved over the season. He still gets unnecessary stick from the Moan Stand but given he's only 21 he has room for improvement and who better to improve a young player than Jim Gannon?

'a winter's tale' should be easy enough when he's had a MoM performance maccy. if you can manage 'in the bleak midwinter' convincingly i'll be very impressed.
...if he gets badly injured, we could have an update on 'winter's bone'...

How about stinging the keeper's hands with a Winter warmer!

Hopefully we will see a Stark contrast to our midfield.

Now that is a great excuse for not making the first team...

I was only wondering last week what Barry Conlon was up to these days, but never would have guessed he'd moved into fashion.
