Best news yet! He has been consistently excellent - more so than any other player - all season, and has become even more essential to the cause following Stopforth's departure.

Incredible news and a real show of commitment from the lad. This is yet more evidence that the club is building some serious forward momentum.
Everyone involved with the club deserves credit, not least the fans, for making County an attractive enough proposition to warrant such commitment from those that have signed extensions.
Well done to all!

That is a huge signing! Well done all round, both for the club to commit to Lewis for so long, and also for Lewis to commit his future to us and the JG project.
I think it speaks volumes that the squad has such a great team spirit, that they're happy as enjoying their football, and most importantly, really buy into what Jim is doing here.
He's easily one of the best central midfielders in the division, and probably one of the best outside of the football league. It's great to see the core of this squad being kept together, I'd love to see Danny next!

agreed. he's been my man of the match for the last three league games i think. great that we're back in a position in which we can offer decent length contracts for those players we'd hate to lose, rather than being a bit hand to mouth like we have been. clearly, there'll still be a mix of non/dual/short term/until the end of the season/one year/two year contracts, but it's great that we've got several of our most outstanding players sorted for the medium term. like gts says, well done all round.

This is excellent news. I suspect player of the season will ultimately go to Lloyd for his work rate and contribution to our goals scored total, but for me Montrose is player of the season (so far). He's been consistently outstanding, and is a thoroughly nice bloke too.

we were near brackley's 'tunnel' as the players came off on tuesday night. they were clapping, but my brother said lewis also thanked us for traveling. it's definitely appreciated when players do that.

Sandy Jnr bought an autograph book from the club shop recently, and has now collected almost all of the squad (he didn't manage to get Stopforth, and still needs Ball and Felix), and whilst all the players were only too happy to sign it for him, I'd say Lewis, John Marsden and Big Kay went especially out of their way to chat to him.
