I was only wondering last week what Barry Conlon was up to these days, but never would have guessed he'd moved into fashion.

A pity about 'Marso'. He went from being one of our best players at the end of last season to a striker who couldn't buy a goal for much of this.
That said, mind, I hope and trust there is a clause agreed in his deal that precludes him from turning out at EP on Good Friday!
Cheers for sharing, benno.

Marsden scored Telford's second, as his loan-club won 2-0 at Staly-vegas last night.
Oh - and it is definite that he will not play against us on Good Friday. Prohibited by the League, lest a loanee should attempt to throw a match and help out his parent-club, apparently.

lets hope he can score some goals whilst out on loan and come back fitter and sharper shame they only have to play Darlington of the top teams before the end of the season - and that's assuming we may allow the loan deal to be extended. Be good for him to influence some of the league shakedown even if he cannot play against us (and help us) (not that he would)

Yes, I noticed that too, Maccy. Hopefully he can find his shooting boots again and get a bit of confidence back - he's certainly made a good start with Telford. An in form Marsden could be an important asset in our last few league games and a potential playoff campaign.

Craig earns place in County squadMidfielder Craig Carney has joined the Hatters on a short-term, non-contract basis after impressing the management team during pre-season. COWS article here Thought it should be mentioned that this fella, who had a brief dual-reg spell with us, went on to win the Evo-Stik 1st Div. North league with Lancaster. He managed a goal and assist too on the final day.

Good for Craig! Not a great talent but 110% effort from him. Likeable guy!

Agreed, Fudgie. A shame, really, that it didn't work out for him with us, as he could have been a ready-made replacement for Stopforth. And he certainly had some pace!
Great season for Lancaster, anyway - and well done to Craig for having helped make it possible. Hopefully, he will get the chance to shine at the next level in 2017/18.
