I shall have to cheer from afar, as with coming to Stockport this weekend and a summer wedding I cannot justify paying 300 € in flights alone. I shall cheer from afar.

Mini-Herm is on a school trip so the only way he could have seen us promoted in-person this season was if the Hartlepool game/day had gone our way. As it stands, I think it'll just be a TV game for us as well.

TV for me.
Family here for half-term and we have a 3rd birthday to celebrate. Our WF cup game has been postponed for a week so hadn't pencilled the date in my diary.

Splashing out the last beans. I was hoping for a ticket in block 111 or 112 but the system doesn't seem to let you select a block. Never mind.... I just hope the commentators and 'pundits' show County more respect than for the Salford matches.
Seems we have the same ref from the first leg. WTF! Are all the other refs on holiday. Thought we'd seen the back of those 2 ****'s

Maybe the pitch will be surrounded by a massive cage, with the odd ladder match-up, Carlisle players attacking us from behind with folding chairs - you know the drill. Wonder if we'll see DC stove Paul Simpson's head in with a fire extinguisher during his after match interview, with "JAMIE WHO?" scribbled along it with a jumbo permanent marker?! We're really gonna need the 12th Man down there, seeing as though we'll no doubt be playing against 12! Maybe they could get David Elleray to come out of retirement as part of the VAR panel, to give the occasion some real nostalgia. |

At 15:00 so I'll watch the 1st half at the airport.
Chances are I won't know the outcome until I
Touch down and turn my phone back on!
Fans flood into Wembley cheering
And singing for the whole 90 minutes to see
County play out of their skin and tucking away
Their chances running out 0-2 winners and getting promoted.

Whatever happens this has been a heck of a season: not quite to match last season for that long winning run, but this is a halcyon period for County. Richly deserved for all the suffering.

I have just connected my laptop to the TV, purchased my international viewing pass, wished my boy God speed as he travels to Wembley tomorrow (He has County blood in his veins). My pre-match routine will be another Playoff Final (first leg) with the shortest of commutes. Football is good, let's hope the footballing Gods are smiling tomorrow.
