Is this a Rusk or a Risk ? Puns about being "Farley knowledgeable" will be music to Sandy and Macca's ears. Under 23s Brighton loan players being shipped up north ? This must have been long in the pipeleine to be sorted so quickly. I smell a big fat furry rodent like creature ! Nope, I'd be less surprised to see them coming from City if the rumours I've read on YB are true. This f***ing STINKS.

Incidentally, my comment was not intended to be any reflection on Simon Rusk, who I'm sure is a nice bloke and will do his best in the job (even though I've never heard of him) and I naturally want him to succeed, but that doesn't affect my feelings towards the current owners and club in general at present.

This is a total shitshow, sandman, there's no other way of looking at it for me.
I have a feeling that our owner isn't all that he seems, but Simon Wilson is coming across to me as a bit of a rat. Someone on YB has even compared him to Ryan McKnight.
A bit extreme? I dunno, but had anyone ever heard of Simon Wilson before he came here? I honestly believe that there's more to this than the championship ambitions they've mentioned.
Wtf is it with this club and bad ownership? Simon f***ing Rusk?
Pffft

Can I be the first to say that he'd have some teething problems with us...

A friend of Wilson from youth football days and the direction wanted from the start? The new man takes over a side which was able to keep a PL side out for 83 minutes and is in a position to challenge for promotion. Announcement talking about the new man being highly sought after, ambitious, young, exciting football, buying into the vision of Championship football and other clever PR things incoming. Maybe some big names! Seriously though, it would never be easy to 'remove' JG in a way most supporters 'liked' but they've come out of this looking underhand and classless towards a Club Legend. Did I exoect them not to have their own people and plans? No. But why do it like that?

The Athletic article now names Mark McGhee in the no. 2 role. Jesus Christ. This is sounding more and more like a McKnight-style project.

Nono, gazz. As the video says, what you're seeing is "a CITY in size. An evolution, not revolution. Building the future whilst preserving the past."

Putting the way JG was replaced aside the powers that be need to make a shrewd appointment. Let’s face it the clubs previous selections weren’t the best other than bringing Jim back. Nothing against him but Simon Rusk who?.... all I remember are the Farley’s. Come on the decision makers your playing a blinder. At least they’re consistent. I thought Alun Armstrong or Jamie Vermiglio would be a good shout if you could prise them away from their current clubs. Certainly Chorley have been performing well & were very unlucky against Wolves.

Still upset about this. My initial reaction was shock. Then disbelief, anger and 'how could this have happened?' Now I'm deeply, deeply sad and disappointed. We may never know the full rationale and motivation behind it all but I feel so sorry for JG. My feelings were re-ignited when I learnt that another true Legend and faithful player and manager had "parted company" with the club he had served so loyally for so long; Jim and now Frank. I wonder what Chelsea fans are thinking..... Keep safe everyone.

Agreed, Bradders. Have you compared and contrasted the official statements from County and Chelsea? They look, for the most part, as if they were borrowed from the same essay-bank for Club Chairmen in parting-of-the-ways mode! (To be fair to Chelsea, though, at least Abramovich had a few compliments about 'Lamps' attributed to his name.)

Lampard lost my respect when he flicked V signs towards the South Stand at Blackpool having scored a penalty during the Premiership season.
Totally classless and crass. Chelsea played a shocking game style that night. Feigning injury and committing professional fouls to slow the game down when Pool looked like getting back into the game. Horrible nasty team at the time.

I wonder if there's also a Chelsea forum with a post that's been on since before Christmas talking of (alleged) internal matters that very few at a club should know about... posted right after a loss to undermine a club legend.
