I totally concur with all said so far. I thought JG played a master stroke as he didn't field the obvious players for most of the game but could call on Palmer, CSH to refresh when needed in the second half. The work ethic was incredible & even the commentator remarked on the levels of fitness. If there was any room for criticism, I thought Sam Minihan at times passed back when really he had the option to advance. Also Lois Maynard could have tried to thread a pass through to Reid who at times was isolated but he certainly put in a shift closing the opposition down (noted by Robbie Savage who seems to be a real fan of SC). With these last performances maybe the penny has now finally dropped that to become a recurring winning team they have to combine all that that they have learnt so far. If Jim can get all the players to reproduce all these aspects in every game we are a match for any team including West Ham. Maybe not every match as every team has an off day even in the Premiership!

West Ham beat Leeds 2-0 and are now 5th on merit in the Premier League table, with a game in hand over 4th placed Chelsea that could see them into the top four if they win it - the Champions League places for anyone that needs reminding. Jim's County held this top quality team for most of the game on an absolute bog of a pitch, and were only beaten by a solitary late goal. Despite the biggest disappointment of such a late goal, to a man we were proud of this team and of the club. Fast forward to the present.... We'd get absolutely walloped if we were playing them this week, but, you know, "culture".....
