Another Saturday, another... erm, crossing of the fingers that a game will actually go ahead!
You know what to do - other than pray for a dry spell of weather (and, failing that, appropriate use of the EP pitch-covers), obviously...:-)

Can't see us beating Histon, I think sadly we'll lose 2-0 in a thoroughly uninspiring performance!

or the weather will win, aided and abetted by ryan's dastardly plan incompetent lack of foresight.
saving money, yes. losing money because the games can't be played leaving the 'the football club' in a cash-flow crisis? no, probably.

It's not looking too good. I'll go for a P-all draw (County P - P Histon. If you have to explain them...)

If I were you lot, I'd start looking for something else to do with your matchdays. This club is like a decommissioned naval ship, it's being dismantled while still afloat, and will soon be run aground and the rest of it scrapped.
I am convinced now that this is deliberate, Inspector Clouseau and Cato couldn't do this much damage, even if they brought in Laurel & Hardy and the Three Stooges to clean the place up after them.
MCKNIGHT OUT!! ...... before it's too late.

Think a new record number of consecutive postponements is being made.
Can't see it being on. Would thi m the club will have to advise if its going ahead on Friday as the Histon lot have a fair way to travel.
Once again it will be interesting to see what Pure have to say tomorrow evening assuming they broadcast.
Someone at the club has dropped a huge b*ll*ck here and head(s) need to roll.

Not that I am an expert but what with all the rain and now low temperatures, a frozen water-logged pitch will start to show many gaps and again be useless to us......just like McKnight's plans for the club....

according to yellowboard it's passed an 8.30 inspection and is ON.
slightly disappointing because i'd accepted the fact that it would be off, and don't think i can get myself back into match mode! back to bed...

And, whaddya know, there's nothing to confirm this on COWS... Still, it's a dry day - in the immediate vicinity of Macc Towers, at least - so, hopefully, the pitch will enjoy some further respite ahead of kick-off. And Sandy and I shall go to the post-match ball !
