Poor old Torquay in trouble !!
Look like going into administration next week. They sit 11th in National South and a 10 pt deduction will leave them only 4 pts above the relegation spots.
Only 6 pts from their last 10 games. Sounds like the rot has set in.
That could have been us, quite easily. So I think we should get over ourselves being disappointed with February's results. It could be so much worse.

Best of luck to Torquay, I hope they can find their way back from this.

Really sad to hear about Torquay. Proper club - against whom we suffered a good few chastening defeats at Plainmoor... not forgetting once in the Cup at Macc - and fingers crossed for their survival.

I’m always dubious of new owners (or potential owners) who promise a new ground…just saying.
Hopefully Torquay can get themselves out of administration and tie their luck around.

That’s dreadful to read. And a sickening reminder from both clubs of how perilous our own position was not so long ago.

Just goes to show that what goes around, comes around. Didn't they p**s their sides laughing at us when we went into admin, then again when we lost our Football League status?
I'm not going to wish them any ill will, but I'm indifferent to their plight. I don't want them to go bust, but beyond that I won't be giving them a second thought.

The greatest of them all for me, and still without equal. Cheers for posting, Duds.

Low lights for those on here too young to remember the worst game of football ever. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52416192Quote "I went to a brawl and a game of football broke out". A modern day ref (Michael Oliver) once watched this and said he would have given at least 17 yellow cards and 11 reds (David Webb would have had 2 of those)

What a game that was between Wolves and Coventry in the FA Cup, an incredible performance from Coventry.
1-0 up until the 83rd minute, when Wolves equalised and then went in front on 88 minutes.
Then came 9 minutes of stoppage time, half of which was due to VAR not being able to make a decision on Coventry's goal. Coventry then equalise on 97 minutes and then grab a dramatic late winner with almost the last kick of the game.
Who said the FA Cup has lost its magic? What a game. Well played, Coventry, they never gave up and thoroughly deserve their place in the semis.

I have a soft spot for Coventry, having worked there in the late 70s and early 80s.
As a coach with the City Schools' Boys Teams we were able to access the training facilities at Ryton and often had tickets (including Directors' Box access) to home games on a rota basis.
Jimmy Hill (love him or loath him) was very much the front thinker on community use and availability, which all clubs have to have nowadays.
And..... of course they have been dumped on by rubbish owners, awful landlords and with little help from the city authority leaders.
