This, after we and Hyde were made to go through the motions of a 'dead rubber' of a match, following the original's postponement with two minutes left on the clock... Yet another example of the 'consistency' of rulings from football's shiny-bottomed elite.

At least the Football League have a little more common sense than the Conference board!
More motivation if it was needed to get back up to the FL!

This is going to sound really, really stupid I know, but why doesn't Oyston just sell up now and bugger off? The lower he takes Blackpool the less it's going to be worth. Unless he's absolutely rolling in money, has none tied up in the club and is now just on a personal vendetta to sink it?

Gazza, you could possibly be right. I refer you to the Blackpool Fans site as anything I repeat might be responded to by being sued. fansonline.net/blackpool/Some of the thinking is a bit off centre but you can't ignore the venom and vitriol that is pouring out of the site. Morty statue update:- Not being replaced today apparently. The only thing of value in Blackpool FC is the land the ground sits on and the rents drawn from offices (mainly NHS), the hotel and the nursery placed there. Draw your own conclusions.

It's saddening, Lennie, it really is. This post on the 'Karl's silence' thread summed it up: "Just rang every tel number for Bloomfield, hospitality, corporate, the lot -NOBODY answered." Ok, maybe the club are going to be receiving a lot of abusive calls, but they're not even making any attempt to communicate to the fans. Strange behaviour, it sounds to me like it's not only the communications that are suffering a breakdown..... I'm half-expecting a lengthy police siege followed by a single gunshot! Bizarre.

Either poor comms... or else Oyston has gone and sacked the Club's entire staffing complement!

Blackpool have announced their new shirt sponsors for next year:- Petrol company, fashion designers and parcel delivery firm. TOTAL FCUK UPS. to be fair lennie, it would be an improvement on the current sponsor. however much i've despaired at county, however bad it was; i don't think we've ever seen anything like this. owen oyston seems to take a malicious delight in some of it, and the two sides are so entrenched it's hard to see a positive outcome. any chance of belokon doing a white knight act?

I think our Valeri is sitting it out on the sidelines and keeping his powder dry.He took on a country's Government and won, so the Oystons would be much simpler.
Banning any of the pitch invaders will achieve nothing as they are all intent on not attending next year anyway.

it's ridiculously heavy handed. i could see it for the fella trying to smash his way into the exec boxes, because that carried a level of threat; but the pitch invasion looked relatively peaceful and apparently the police were commended by some of the blackpool fans for their proportionate response.
