oh aye. i put that it was karl at the time too.
surprised they haven't been in for ched evans, what with karl's understanding of the rehabilitation of sex cases... perhaps his wage demands were too high...

Interesting the response to Ched.
Do I want him playing for County? Probably not
Was his crime horrific? Definitely but he still maintains his innocence.
Do the staff of Oldham and their families deserve death threats? Of course not.
Should he be allowed to play football again? I think so, after all football has a history of allowing violent convicted offenders and indeed killers continue to play after serving their sentence. Would there be less furore if he had admitted guilt?
Sorry to hijack the thread but ARS got me thinking.

very good len.
it's a tough one dudley. there's a clear air of bullying about how he's been prevented from joining a club, but personally i'm glad he hasn't. it's a bit unfair that he's the focus of all my ire about scumbag players and football clubs who would employ adolf hitler if he had a sweet (probably) right foot and bagged 25 goals a season...but that's where i'm at with it.

This could mean County disappearing from the record books !!! (Probably one we want to lose anyway)
One of our Walking Footballers (Backpost Billy) is part owner of FC Blackpool and is looking forward to an increased crowd. It might not be the windfall they need as THEY are having to pay for the extra policing of the event.
Blackpool limp from one crisis to another. The crowd at Tuesday game was estimated at 4K although the offical "paying" gate was 9.5K as this included the season ticket holders who refused to go. Could be some interesting media reporting this weekend.
At least County had financial problems to blame for their slipping down the league. I think we might be playing them in the Conference in 2 years time.

Astonishing goings on, when will the misery end for Tangerine fans?
Awful time for them and their great old club.

I sincerely hope the appeals court overturns that decision! Ludicrous
I think Oyston should think himself lucky thats its only been words and not something else through his window!!
