Has this occurred to anyone else? I wonder if the top man has blown the whistle, and the ones in the frame are the ones who could vote against him on Friday, makes you think doesn't it?! Spot on Gazza, probably a lot of truth in that one, perfect timing as well... The fact that Blatter wont travel to the US says it all...

The FA wouldn't recognise a principled stance if Ricky Hatton delivered it with a left hook. Has Greg Dyke finally returned that watch?[/quote]
I agree with you, archie, that the FA are hardly a model of effective governance and honourable leadership, being full of those primarily concerned with enlightened self-interest - but on Septic, I think they've got it right.
If the combined weight of UEFA and the FBI can't bring him down, then that really is the end. He'll waltz back into his office on Friday with a feeling that he's had a small stone in his shoe for a few days. Onwards he goes.

I wonder wether UEFA will actually have the nerve to walk away from the World Cup. That is about the only thing that would make Blatter sit up and pay attention.

I genuinely do fear that he will be running the show until the day he dies, and his long history of corruption will probably be burned/buried with him.

My fears too mate. I don't wish death on anyone, but I really do hope he can be brought to some kind of justice before he shuffles off.

I know that sponsors are now saying this and that about future contracts but surly all that needs to happen is the television companies pull out and say that they are not going to cover future tournaments whilst he is at the helm, this would effect the income and also make it worthless for sponsors getting involved or is that just to simple.

Too many fingers in too many pies means that there are too many people that stand to lose a lot of money, so sadly that will never happen. They know that people want to watch football, and besides, what are FIFA doing now that they weren't doing years ago? Blatter's initial appointment was littered with accusations of bribery. Nothing's changed, nothing WILL change.

I have to agree with you Gazza, very sorry state of affairs, as I said my thoughts just to simple, governing bodies and the like just enjoy making things complicated, for their own agendas I think.

Sky Sports are now predicting a Blatter majority vote.
This is, however, just an estimate based on each country.
I hope they're wrong

I'm sure they won't be James, was saying on the news last night that he is guaranteed the votes from to many countries for it to even go to a second vote.

I've heard it's a foregone conclusion. Blatter wins with 107% of the vote.

Worried you dont have enough money? Concerned about playing it straight?
Still taking two bribes into the shower? Well just use new vote and go ! The easy way to make money without being honest !
