"Incumbent president Sepp Blatter, who is seeking a fifth term, was not one of the seven officials arrested".
Has he got immunity and if so what was the price?
Mr 'Teflon' Blatter....nothing sticks
His ego is in the way of FIFA ever gaining any credulity..

Another very good post that, Eps, and I too fear that the brown envelope culture will long outlive Blatter. He is just the tip of a very large iceberg it's a large brown one gazz. probably not an iceberg, but more akin to when you've filled the bowl and there's just the top of your evacuate pile breaking the surface. hope nobody's eating while reading this. I was, a Coco Pops breakfast bar while I'm waiting for my tea!

i'm probably miles behind the curve with these, but i've recently found and really liked them. this one's full of sepp, and the second to last panel in particular made me laugh. if you haven't seen them before it's worth having a look through. some of the caricatures are brilliant.

Thanks for posting Gazza....this says it all "This really is the World Cup of fraud, and today we are issuing FIFA a red card," Weber said.
FIFA officials are accused of taking bribes totaling more than $150 million and in return providing "lucrative media and marketing rights" to soccer tournaments as kickbacks over the past 24 years.
"FIFA needs leadership that governs, guides and protects our national associations," said Ali, who has in the past blasted what he calls FIFA's culture of intimidation. "Leadership that accepts responsibility for its actions and does not pass blame. Leadership that restores confidence in the hundreds of millions of football fans around the world."

Has this occurred to anyone else? I wonder if the top man has blown the whistle, and the ones in the frame are the ones who could vote against him on Friday, makes you think doesn't it?!

Apparently if certain people are found guilty then the world cup reverts to England!
I know we have a small pockets of racists and homophobes but I don't think we're nearly corrupt or inappropriate enough to host the World Cup.
