Torquay switched to Sunday 16th May at 1215pm for BT Sport to cover live! Cheers, MHH. I'm moving onto five straight weeks of nights this weekend, but I had already booked the week off beginning that very Sunday to break it up a little - result!

In that case, they should also scrap promotion and relegation in every division - let's see them make that stick!

My goodness , the fruits of the vine have a strange taste in Southend and Grimsby !
Clutching at straws. Can't change the rule retrospectively, surely. But then, this is the EFL we are talking about.

Incredible! The scrapping of relegation from the National League was known about months ago when the current season was cancelled from non-league Step 2 and below. Interesting that both Grimsby and Southend should put their proposal forward with one fixture remaining when their relegation was confirmed after a season of poor performances. Shades of the failed European Super League here with a similar exclusive 'closed shop' approach? Might as well return to the old days of applying for re-election to the Football League and 'automatically' getting re-elected!! Humphh.....

Meanwhile, Hartlepool have obviously turned to Boris playing for them today !
1-4 against 10 man Maidenhead. What a topsy turvy league ending.

Updated after Torquay vs Bromley and after a protracted amount of "injury time".
The hope lives on, but we still need a hand in catching Sutton. Torquay are now reachable if we win on Tuesday and beat them next weekend. Goal difference in our favour especially if we beat the Gulls.

'Pools will have to settle for the play-offs after that. And then there were three...
Oh - and come on, Bromley!

Perhaps Maidenhead can do the same to Sutton (and they must still have an eye on the playoffs as well).
Simple, we need a good win on Tuesday and then turn Torquay over next weekend.

Won't be easy against Daggers & Redders, who notched up their sixth straight win after putting five past Wealdstone this afternoon. They still have an outside chance of the play-offs, too.

I can see a late goal in the Torquay game, hopefully Torquay don't score it.

They'll probably bide their time until Bromley start heading back for London, and then tap in a cheeky one...

No late goal but two points dropped for Torquay! I'll take that.

Good result. So, win our next two and, by next Sunday afternoon, we'd be above Torquay (who don't play in midweek) on goal difference.
Have a feeling that Sutton will be the more difficult of the two to catch, mind...
