The fans ?
Not convinced at all on the numbers (financially), but the idea is great i.e. getting the ground back
This was not a good time for this really, considering it will probably never get off the ground.
The club is doing what it can to unite and make the best shot of next season.
This will just divide and cause conflict.

If the ST money is used as a deposit and mortgage payments how do they pay the wages? ...and what if the ST revenue is below target? How do they pay the mortgage... and then the wages? And what about the other revenue steams and cost lines? Do they balance out? (Congrats on the 5k, Downy)

...and there the plan falls down. There is no safety net as far as I can see, and the worry is the targets looked unreachable.

All is not lost though to getting the ground back...the club are, and have been, meeting BK / SMBC for sometime. This new plan is not the only way to get EP back. I'm favouring the original plan and the more I dig the more I feel that.

Having seen the proposed figures in detail I have personally been to EP this PM to obtain comparisons with an open mind to results until I saw them.
I did not get the figures below from from word of mouth, but actually saw these figures with my own eyes in club accounts.
They are correct.
Mottersheads projected ST revenue...
£188 x 1,800 = £338,400
Actually achieved this season ST revenue...
£137 x 1,300 = £178,100
DIFFERENCE OF OVER £160,000 !!
That's massive difference, one so big I cannot get my head around how it would be achieved.
Mottershead and Co are also reliant on £250k from 10 year ST's (25 @ £10k each).
Nothing to say we would not do that, but my head says its beyond unrealistic.
You could very very easily be talking £1/4 million short of projections.
With nobody with any cash to make up any shortfall (which there will be) then this seems totally unsupportable.

Excellent sleuthing, 77 - albeit with a worrying outcome, and a good few more questions.
Will be interesting to hear now whether there are answers...

I'm seriously doubting this consortium's suitability, especially in light of that comparison, 77. Thanks for posting those figures, mate.
I don't know what it is about this club, it's almost as if we are constantly trying to debunk the theory that it can't get any f***ing worse for us.

Many of us probably do just that, by way of a self-defence mechanism, gazza!

Worrying gap in finances. Thanks for that 77, as I have stated elsewhere previously why should SF just give his money away? I wouldn't want to and I am a fan.

In the light of the Moving Forward document, I'm actually outraged that this group chose this occasion to raise their standard and to do it in such an apparently aggressive manner. Given that they organised the event, I think it's necessary for the Co-op Board to deny any foreknowledge (both individually and as a group) of this hijack.

To be honest 77 I tend to have more faith in you and the people currently in charge like SB than this plan that's come out. I feel the way the club is being run at the moment is the best we have had in years and part of me wants it to carry on this way.

hmm. i feel like i'm back on the normal uphill slope of county. didn't take long! i was positive about the fans forum and recent co-op information though, so as long as it doesn't destabilise that, i'm still keen to see what this lot have got.
