As there are only 536 tickets available and no online purchase and the possibility that Joe Bloggs could queue and buy tickets for his 10 ST mates.. this may be an option if you don't want to go in the home end. www.nowtv.com/sports-purchaseI have never subscribed so dont know if it will work but it sounds okay...the £9.99 stream sounds like its just for mobile phones???...please correct me if I am wrong.

help.nowtv.com/article/sports-membershipUnder FAQs 'What do I need?' it looks like the Day pass can be used on any supported device (not just mobile). The monthly mobile-only offer seems to be thrown in as the extra sweetener. That offer was around £12 on Monday when I looked, so it's come down a bit since then. The other monthly any device offer (£34.99) is considerably worse than Monday as I got it for £21 and that included 'boost' (usually £6) giving Full HD to 3 devices simulataneously. Beyond that, do check if your smart TV is supported before buying if that's how you would watch as one of ours was no longer supported and it's not 'that' old!

County now ruling out the option for mass ST purchases - which is a fair step to have taken - although getting to EP very early in the morning is recommended:

Should be 2 maximum in reality. 4 per transaction is only 134 people. Be VERY early indeed.
Thank goodness I have Sky.
2831 - Average home gate at Salford this year. (Capacity 5106 - 2240 seats)

So what can we say about Salford City? Well, they finished in 7th place, with a record of P 46 W 22 D 9 L 15 F 72 A 54. They were the joint top scorers in League 2, along with Mansfield who missed out on the playoffs because Salford's GD was 1 better then Mansfield's.
Their top scorer is F Callum Hendry on 13, then F Conor McAleny on 11, then F Matthew Smith with 10. After them come Luke Bolton and MF Matthew Lund both on 7. MF Ryan Watson has 6, a further 7 players have scored 19 goals between them. So clearly they spread the goals around a fair bit. That said they conceded 54 which puts them 11th in L2 for defence, so they may well be vulnerable at the back.
League form goes out of the window at this stage of course so I won't go through the individual Ws, Ds and Ls. I'll just say that even if they have a goal or two in them, especially over 2 legs, I reckon County's Defence, 37 Gs against, bettered only by Orient on 34, should be capable of blunting their Goal scoring. (For reference, both Carlisle and Bratfut both conceded 43 Gs this season, placing them joint 5th in L2 for Gs against.
All in all, I fancy County will have a job on but have enough goal threats of their own and the ability to contain Salford's attacking threat so, fingers crossed, I fancy us to go to Wembley again. As I say though, fingers crossed....

I stand by my opinion that, whatever happens, we've done well this season and we can't have too many complaints - not about the effort ON the pitch, anyway.
I'm not saying I'll accept an abject performance and pasting, because I won't and I'll be monumentally pissed off at the manager, staff and players if we capitulate and blow this opportunity without a fight. In the grand scheme of things, however, with all factors considered, if I'd been offered this season from this point before a ball was kicked in August I'd have taken it without question.
There will be no excuses if we fall at this hurdle and not go one better next season, though.
Go get 'em, County!

A shame Wootton is injured. He would have had a bagful against Hartlepool !

Not great - but better than getting David Elleray!

Not great - but better than getting David Elleray! We could have done with it during those matches he officiated, that's for sure.

That goal against Hartlepool would never have been disallowed. The defender shoved the keeper into the net !!!
