Why can we not pass the ball to our own players? FFS...

DC just mouthed "crap" after Rydel sends a cross into low orbit - quite.

Never seen DC looking so angry, but I'm totally with him - he's being let down badly tonight. He needs to get up and do a JG!

This is awful. Hopefully we can steal a 1-0 loss and refocus for the second leg. We're in danger of throwing a 46 game season away

I said I'd take a failure if we fought hard and it didn't happen for us, but this has been abject from the first whistle and is totally unacceptable.

Definitely missing the experience of Madden and Sarce.

That was utter rubbish, a total embarrassment of a performance. I wouldn't give any of those lads out there tonight an easy ride in the dressing room, they've all been poor.
They better shape up for a week today.

The only positive is that Salford will be kicking themselves. This tie should be all over, and they've missed a real chance.
We've got away with it, and have to use that as motivation.

With that injury list, if I was offered being a goal down after leg 1, I would have taken it pre-match. There's no away goals in effect in these ties so no scoring by us tonight is no different to losing 3-2 or whatever. Regardless of how bad we were (and we were shocking for much of it), Salford failed to kill the entire tie tonight, which they should have done. That, as Eps says, is the positive.
A week to hopefully get some bodies fit and a much-needed reflection that we didn't finish 4th because we spent our season panicking and failing to do the basics.

Sky interviewer has a lengthy chat to Nicky Butt on the pitch, but doesn't speak to one of our guys - nowt like impartial coverage. Given the only way they could fill their small stadium is with other clubs' fans being given a suitable allocation, I smiled at him saying they want to grow a national and international fanbase. Dear me. Wrexham they are not.
