Pleased we had a good second half. The first half was dire and not even Strawberry could polish that turd.
One good half is not nearly enough and it's as likely to be a one off as a turning point. Rusk's chronic lack of experience hasn't changed.
Rusk has made his bed, so he can lie in it. If you replace a rubbish manager, you get a good honeymoon period. Replace a highly successful manager who was forced out, then you have to improve on that. Which he isn't doing as he's not nearly as good a manager as Jim.
Stott and Wilson must think Rusk can become a good manager, are happy to go backwards and pay him to learn on the job. Fine, but I'd rather he did his probation at a different club.
Didn't have to be this way, but, you know, it is what it is.
I sense a hugely frustrating season with no idea where we'll end up. It all depends on how quickly Rusk develops in to a proper manager.

That's an excellent assessment, Eps, particularly this bit.... "Stott and Wilson must think Rusk can become a good manager, are happy to go backwards and pay him to learn on the job. Fine, but I'd rather he did his probation at a different club." Nail...on...head.
