Did you change what you normally have for breakfast? ; No, mate. I'm just a very simple, complex and predictably unpredictable bloke. I'm like a Rubik's cube with a bunch of stickers missing - impossible to fathom.

I've just seen this posted on YB:
"Someone mentioned on Red passion our club have basically sold you another 500 tickets but not advertised it. Poor from our club, as there will now be a smattering of home regulars in that stand surrounded by away fans when the club could of simply said we're giving Wrexham extra allocation & made plans for moving home fans & ensuring segregation. I just hope that your fans that have bought tickets for the home 'family stand' are of the family nature & not the risk category or our club is going to have egg on their faces on Saturday! Not blaming Wrexham fans here at all, we'd do exactly the same in a similar situation but IMO County have handled this poorly, they should of just announced an extra allocation & then stringently checked postcodes to prevent further encroachment into home sections. Anyway, hope it all passes off peacefully! GMP will be rubbing their hands already, plenty of O.T. for them & they get to dress up in all their battle gear & bring all their toys out, dogs, horses etc, they don't need much excuse!"
Aside from what could transpire inside the ground, my two lads live on Edgeley, so I've told them to be careful on Saturday. They'll both be coming home from work around the same time the game is scheduled to finish, so I've told them to avoid the surrounding area.
I really hope both sets of fans behave themselves.

Aside from about 25 seats in Block 1 of the Pop Side (nearest CE), every seat in that entire stand is greyed out for ticket buying.

Although I've predicted a County win, I'm not actually expecting anything but a thumping and for Rusk to need Rab C. McGhee as his dugout bouncer. I hope he plays with a back four and lets MSH and Kitching play further forward, as we might give them a game if he does. We all know he'll play three CBs, though, so another royal hammering would be the most likely outcome.

I can see this being the situation at half-time on Saturday, swap Mike Bassett with McGhee and Mexico with Wrexham...

Outside, as well as inside, the ground, I would guess. Have arranged with friends in Cheadle Heath to park my car at their place, rather than leaving it around Edgeley for the afternoon...

Can someone bring me up to speed on this please? We’ve sold tickets to Wrexham fans without any segregation? And to expect trouble? Is this historical between the two clubs?
Some ominous messages here about avoiding the area and parking elsewhere.
It will be my lad’s second game so us being drop-kicked in Edgeley wasn’t on the agenda 🤣
Cheers PJ

Sorry, I honestly don't have anything else I can offer, as I think the club have f***ed up royally with the ticketing for this one. I'm not suggesting there will be trouble, but the potential is there.

Cheers but we’re definitely still going, see what happens tomorrow.
If the game before, during and after has an edge to it then so be it.
Will make a change from the back of the Cheadle End fighting amongst themselves anyway haha

Not sure what's going on with the ticketing, pj. Wrexham were allocated 1700, which they said sold out in an hour. I assumed that would be the Railway End and maybe 2 blocks (4 and 5) of the Pop Side nearest the Railway End. Why Blocks 1-3 of the Pop Side are greyed out for purchase (shows 1 seat available at the moment), I don't know... but County don't usually fill a single block of the Pop Side, nevermind 3.
There's a behind-the-scenes video called 'Policing non-league Wrexham v Stockport' on Youtube which shows how the police treated last year's visit there.
Anyway, hope you both enjoy the game and we can get a win for your lad to enjoy!
