Thanks guys. Much appreciated. All been a bit of a worry this last 12 months. Bonus - I have lost a stone in weight, set-back - I have lost my padding, much needed, around the hips when going for those low shots in the corners !!!!
Last night - 8 draws out of 10. Unheard of, really. But only Solihull stealing a march, and just by the odd goal thanks to an ex-hatter coming on for the second half.
We shouldn't throw this away now, surely. We won't get a better chance with a better set of players. Momentum is everything going into a busy March. Next 3-4 weeks will sort this lot out. We have 7 out of 8 very winnable games coming up where as all the others seem to play each other at least once.
As we always say - It's the hope that kills you !

In theory, I think Boreham Wood could still get their noses in front of us if they were to win all three games in hand Ah, but they still have to play us so, technically, it's in our hands. Exactly, Archie!

The table looks better this morning than it did yesterday and we didn’t even play!
Come on County, don’t mess this up!!

I consciously avoided using the phrase 'in their/our hands', but I guess that, technically, by the same token it's in BHW's, too?

Well, as expected, 7 of the top 9 teams all winning today. Bromley no game. Solihull the only top side to drop points (well done Southend).
Tuesday sees Chesterfield play host to Notts Co and Grimsby at home to Boreham Wood has been postponed. Wrexham play Kings Lynn.

Boreham Wood are surely going to run out of legs with the amount of games they'll end up playing per week, unless they've got a massive squad full of first team quality players that they can rotate, of course.

Hopefully thinking Gazza. One would presume so.

Yup, and with the travel included it's going to be a tough slog for them. Points on board > games in hand in this case!

Yes, a few more like the other day where we improve our position without kicking a ball would do nicely.

Despite the current points-gap, the challengers about whom I feel most wary are Wrexham. They have really run into some form at the moment, and, with their resources, will be well placed to slot in quality players from the fringes if the need arises. Our trip to the Racecourse Ground on the penultimate weekend could be quite the event...

Chesterfield turn their recent poor form around coming back from a goal down to win 3-1 impressively against Notts Co. Consolidate 2nd place. 3 points behind County - we have the game in hand now though.
Wrexham won as expected 2-0 vs Kings Lynn. Move up to 3rd. Equal games with County and 6 points behind.
Dag and Redbridge continue to hover just below the play offs with a 3-0 victory over our 2nd favourite team, Maidenhead. Keeping it 10 teams looking at the 7 end of season places. Think we can exclude Torquay and below now.
Makes a change from County being one of the will we - won't we sneak the play off spots. Still a way to go yet.

The time for considering the playoffs has come and gone for me, we've got to be focussed solely on the title now - we will surely never have a better chance.
If Rusk had been shown the door even just a few games earlier, we might have had enough of a cushion by now to not have to worry too much, especially about those three huge games at the end of the season.
Procrastination, eh?

Well !
Boreham actually score twice (for a change) but ship 4 to Wrexham !! That could have been so much worse. Need to keep on eye on Wrexham though. So no slip ups please.
Solihull and Notts Co neutralise each other to take pressure off further back in the play offs.
Alty stick 5 past Weymouth !! What a strange side they are (both of them really).
Safen' piss on Grimsby's chips.
Interesting Saturday - Boreham Wood host Chesterfield, Halifax home to Dover. Watch this space.
