Just moved your post here, mate, as it follows on neatly from ones further up this page on the Rowe shenanigans.

One of Wrexham's big names, Mullin, was shown a straight red in the 4th minute which means, if not repealed, he'll miss 3 games. To make matters worse, they could only draw at home with Maidenhead, so they were the only side in the top 7 (when results completed) not to win today.
Chesterfield have just about got over the line at Eastleigh - one very late wonder volley from an unlikely source (not scored for 2 years) sealed it in a game with hardly any quality at all.

That late goal at Eastleigh is a bit of a bummer. But at least we keep our noses ahead of the pack and improve the goal difference considerably.
Up to all the rest to catch us now. Notts Co and Dag and Red losing widens the gap below the play-off spots.

Looking at some of the top sides...
As posted by ceefer in the ex-hatters thread, Jimmy Ball has left Solihull for Rochdale.
Wrexham have signed 22-year-old Tom O'Connor from L1 Burton to bolster their midfield.
Halifax have taken a 23yo forward Zak Dearnley on, who was just released by Oldham. They had recently taken a 25yo PNE midfielder on loan too.
Notts have signed a 20yo 'keeper on loan from Liverpool.
Bromley have signed Dreher, a 23yo midfielder from Crystal Palace's set-up, on loan.

After initially suspending him, Chesterfield have now parted ways with manager James Rowe. Rumours to replace include Paul Cook and Pete Wild of Halifax.

Weymouth have taken just 2 points from their last 12 but will be beating Chesterfield tomorrow.

Well, it wasn't a Weymouth win in the end but they managed a draw meaning we remain top and Chesterfield have no games in hand.
Wishing Tshimanga well after it sounds like he's suffered a very serious leg injury in the game.

Broken leg for Tshimanga, which pretty much means the end of his season. Horrible thing to happen to him, and I hope he makes a full recovery.

I don't know how bad/malicious the challenge was, but the other player didn't even get a booking, so it was either an innocuous one or the referee got that badly wrong. I hope he has a speedy recovery.

It was variously described in today's Non-League Paper as 'strong' and 'heavy', Gazz - so read into that what you will.
Chesterfield's view was that the player making it (Haji Mnoga) should have been shown red.

I had a feeling that would be the case, Maccy, which makes it all the more horrific.
Refereeing standards are absolutely shocking at times in this division, bordering on criminally so, and it's a disgrace that it takes such a crushing blow to a talented footballer's season to highlight it - though I seriously doubt that standards will change much.

Here's a clip of the tackle, which looks a perfectly fair challenge from that angle:

Agreed, matey - no malice apparent on that showing, and the referee also looked well place to judge it.
So, can only think that the players' legs collided in the process, or that Tshimanga fell badly, to cause the harm.
