Any news on new GK’s? Definitely an area we’re light on? I am on standby , just waiting for the call.

If Len signs I'm buying the replica GK top. Do your thing, Mr Stott.

It seems to me that the squad will be one of our most experienced for some time. Presumably Simon Wilson's influence.
As it stands, we seem to have a squad of seventeen with room for a back-up keeper, a right back and a winger/wide midfielder who can put the ball on the head of a big striker with monotonous regularity.

This is the first time, in his current spell, that Jim has had the opportunity to build a squad almost from scratch. Having the funds in place to go out and sign quality players rather than picking up promising youngsters (for which Gannon excels) is something not seen since probably the Brendan era County. At least that I can remember.
I can only compare it to the Neil Young’s ill fated rebuild at the start of the 2015/16 season in more recent times. But that was still when we were part time and so very limited in the quality that we could sign.
But this time we have money in the bank and a competent manager and team around him.
Exciting times ahead.

Let's hope there aren't too many postponements, Maccy, as we could end up seeing one hell of a backlog next year!

Given the overall physical presence, experience and individual ability at our disposal, having two players (in Hogan and Stott) able to bring the ball out either side of Palmer in a back 3 is just one more thing the opposition manager will have to worry about.
It's fitting that Stott should get a shot at being part of the next push. Good luck and welcome back.
