Thanks for your detailed info, Jon. The club website gives two different postcodes for the ground on the same website! Misinformation or what?

There's usually two Church Ends on in Old New Inn - Poacher's Pocket and Goat's Milk are on quite often.

If you change your mind and decide to head for Town for suppage (10 minutes away) you won't be disappointed. Pub names and types available if anyone needs them. I will check back here throughout the day. Otherwise, enjoy your trip. hang on...you're not this helpful and friendly to county fans on the Non-League Forum........ I worked with two not so long ago and they epitomised the way some of you lot were at the start of the season. One I knew even thought the FA Cup and FA Trophy should be midweek as standard so as not to interfere with his precious Saturdays. Bloody Cheadle-Ender. Oh, hope your drummer leaves his per-rumpa-pum-pum at home as it won't be allowed in. We have a witch over yonder who complains to Noise Abatement folks whenever possible. Seek me out when you arrive. Look for the handsome dude wearing the battered faux-leather pork-pie hat. And do take home a bottle or two of our lovely Brakes Fluid. Failing that, get yourself to 'Uddersfield for the Wankathon.

Any score predictions from you Simesy? I'll take a draw right now. You're on a roll (and I don't mean Jeavons) and we've lost Stefan Moore to Broccoli, haven't played for about three weeks and our new arrivals haven't had chance to bed in properly.

and fair play - up until our little run recently, you'd acquitted yourselves better than us at this level. i thought you contained us very easily at edgeley park.
personally i hadn't realised the excitement for the fa cup/trophy at this level before. the league always seemed more important, so it always felt a bit irritating to have league aways i fancied moved to midweek. i think the last time i was excited about county in the cup was taking the lead at (then) premier league watford in '06 or '07. unfortunately they then scored 4 without further reply from us. i appreciate it seems a bit impertinent of us to whine about it, but the excitement for it is just another in the list of things we've not been used to!

there's a few win predictions earlier in the thread, but i'd take a draw as well. i'm hoping we're evolving into a side that mainly wins at home and doesn't get beaten too much away, so a point will definitely do from tomorrow.

Think it's a get there early and park up and perhaps use the clubhouse if we are allowed?

There will be no Radio Macc, I am afraid, as Mrs M has written a monologue which, we have just heard, will receive its first public performance tomorrow afternoon.
Hopefully, either Fudge FM or Market Harborough Metro will be able to do the broadcasting honours on this occasion?

Think it's a get there early and park up and perhaps use the clubhouse if we are allowed? As far as anyone can make out, you're to enter by the top turnstiles but all the facilities will be available to you. You are the first visitors we are getting an official attendance for. Can't remember what the keg bitter is in the Clubhouse, but there's our own bottled beer - Brakes Fluid made by a local microbrewery. It is available warm (room temperature), cold (from fridge) or very cold (from cellar). It's a dark copper affair, 5% proof. Very tasty.
