Is there a more irritating sound in sport than an American screeching "get in the hole" off the tee on a par 5?
If there is, I've not heard it yet.
Speaking of which, Europe - remember that place? - are well on their way to a right royal f***ing in the Ryder Cup. Not helped in the least by a complete lack of support in the crowd.
I've given up watching, as it's going to be unbearable listening to the "U-S-A..." chants as the weekend progresses.
Ah well, the next one is in Italy.
