This place needs boycotting, Bezos is one greedy bastard: Amazon delivery drivers all over the UK have received a pay reduction in January 2022. Amazon drivers always receive a seasonal pay increase at Christmas due to the extra workload throughout the seasonal period, this is normal however, this year the wages have not just been reduced back to the level of pay before Christmas, they have now been reduced by an average of £20 per day. Amazon is well known for the pressures that it places upon drivers due to high parcel volumes each driver can receive 300 parcels per day. All Amazon drivers working in the UK are self-employed and have to pay their own taxes and also work on a 0-hour basis providing no job security at all. Many people that work as delivery drivers for Amazon hire vans at a very high cost, many of these drivers do not receive enough work at times to cover the cost of the rental vehicle, this means it can cost them money to deliver for Amazon let alone have money to take home after expenses. Taking this into consideration and the current increases in the cost of living and cost of fuel, I would like to ask Amazon to reconsider this reduction in pay for delivery drivers. As delivery drivers we are exhausted, we've worked tirelessly through a pandemic only to come out of the other side and receive a kick in the teeth, a pay cut of £20 per day over the course of a working week is a substantial amount of money to loose. So please Amazon review this pay cut as the timing is very inappropriate. the.organise.network/campaigns/teamup-amazon-driver-pay-cut?utm_source=organise&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=blast197997

The cost? The f***ing parasite spent an estimated $550,000,000 for every minute of the flight. Very happy not to spend a single bent penny with the tw@ and his massive tax evading business.

Signed, and I’m pleased to say that after living here for almost two and a half years, Mr Bezos still thinks I live in England and is trying to tempt me back to spending money there…

Duly signed however, there is a strong suspicion that the Government is deliberately allowing the NHS to flounder as a matter of policy as a prelude to announcing that it is no longer fit for purpose and needs to be privatised.

Duly signed however, there is a strong suspicion that the Government is deliberately allowing the NHS to flounder as a matter of policy as a prelude to announcing that it is no longer fit for purpose and needs to be privatised. There's no suspicion, Yorks, it's happening. I'm sure you've noticed the private healthcare companies ramping up their ad campaigns since the pandemic started, because I was on to it straight away. It's been clear to me that this shower of bastards have been weaponising the pandemic to speed up the dismantling of the NHS, not 'save' it. This country is no longer fit for purpose, mate, it's completely f***ed. If I could afford to, I'd move abroad and leave this sh*t show behind me for good, and I'd advise anyone that can afford to leave to do so. It was scary what Covid did to the UK, but not half as scary as what the Tories are doing to it. They need a good kicking next week, one that hopefully gives the lying bastard more just a bloody nose, because if after everything that's happened on his watch he wakes up on May 6th with minimal damage, then I really do think it's all over. The time has come for the electorate to prove that they aren't as thick as pig sh*t after all, I sincerely hope they do.

Another day, another Tory policy f***ing the working man, in spite of their claim to 'support' "hard working families". ------------------------------------ "Companies are deliberately firing people to rehire them on worse contracts. For some reason it's legal in this country, but it's leaving thousands of us in the lurch. Companies shouldn't be able to force staff into choosing between worse contracts and being fired. It's illegal in Spain and Ireland. [1] It should be illegal here too." the.organise.network/campaigns/teamup-make-fire-and-rehire-illegal------------------------------------ Today it's Royal Mail, but tomorrow it could be YOUR employer. This needs to be stopped.

Today it's Royal Mail, but tomorrow it could be YOUR employer. This needs to be stopped. Of course it does but we've had over 40 years of neo-liberal economics and for many, they know nothing else. The changes in education, employment law, assaults on trades unionism, the attempts at distinguishing the deserving from the undeserving poor, the promotion of the idea that if you have nowt it's your own fault, the use of social division as political policy with the continuation and extending of the so-called culture wars have all been designed to promote the same idea which is that you are nothing other than a unit of production to be exploited by unscrupulous employers whose sole motivation is profit. There is some potential light at the end of the tunnel. I read this morning that there is emerging evidence to suggest that the more highly educated an individual, the less likely they are to vote Tory. It seems that we can add stupid to the list of personality traits which already include greed and selfishness as those required to vote for this venal, corrupt and dishonest shower of sh*t currently passing itself off as the Government of this country. As an aside, I heard some Government mouthpiece belly-aching the other day about the so-called "great resignation" as it's now being referred to and how too many people are leaving work leaving their employers short of the skills they need. I've just left manufacturing for reasons I suspect the f***ing clown could never understand if he thought about it for two lifetimes. I left because work no longer offered any satisfaction, because the motivation was drained out of me by managers promoted way beyond their limited abilities who had no regard for the experience, skills and knowledge accumulated from 30 years in aerospace manufacturing gained both as a design engineer and in various quality related functions. I now work 15-16 hours a week stacking shelves at the local Co-op and love it or rather, I love the freedom and time to pursue other interests, including getting a small business off the ground. Not something tossers like Rees-Mogg or Johnson could ever comprehend because hey! Get this, I've got enough, and don't need and more than that. What I do need is quality of life. So f*** them and f*** their "vision" for this country.
