Signed, for simplicity I claimed to still be a Dudley resident You can take the man out of Dudley.... Actually, that should legally only be allowed in reference to Stockport, but you get the idea!

To all those that voted to get your country back: Still think it was the right thing to do? tinyurl.com/y4ou6h4fI warned everyone four years ago that this would happen.

Duly signed but no-one should be surprised. Lest we forget Kwasi Kwarteng, Priti Patel, Dominic Raab, Chris Skidmore and Elizabeth Truss all appended their names to Britannia Unchained a book dismissed at the time as nothing more than the wet dreams of right-wing fantasists.
Since then of course the credulous, gullible and stupid and natural Tories, aided and abetted by one of the least democratic political systems in the advanced world (for information, used rarely anywhere in the world outside those countries not formerly part of the British Empire) the electorate of this country contrived to give this cabal of swivel-eyed right-wing nutjobs an 80 seat majority thereby conferring on them the ability to do what the hell they please for 5 years.
The book claims that the UK has a "bloated state, high taxes and excessive regulation". before stating that the British are among the worst idlers in the world who work among the lowest hours, retire early and whose productivity is poor. Whereas Indian children aspire to be doctors or businessmen, the British are more interested in football and pop music.
It says the UK should “stop indulging in irrelevant debates about sharing the pie between manufacturing and services, the north and the south, women and men”.
There you have it in a nutshell you lazy bunch of bastards, get your fingers out! I suspect that as the Lib Dems before them and now the nations fishermen, Brexiteers are about to find out that you trust a Tory at your peril. The shame of it is of course the numpties have inflicted them on the rest of us too, many of whom have long since recognised the Tory Party for exactly what it is.

A stark read, Yorks, but an accurate assessment of what is coming. I have never feared for my future as much as I do now. The only thing worse than these bastards are those that voted them in. I am not usually a vindictive man, but I DO bear grudges, so with this in mind, to all those that voted leave and voted these criminals into power - I hope you suffer the most. f*** you all.

My sister who was recently made redundant from her role with the council is a life-long Tory voter along with her husband. Her employer has had to cut the services it provides to meet the swingeing 40% cuts to its budget imposed by the Tories since 2010 which are now added to the cost to the council of coping with Covid-19 whilst experiencing further cuts to its income caused by the pandemic and yet both she and her husband appear utterly incapable of linking the the party for whom they vote with said job loss. Apparently they couldn't vote for a party led by Corbyn but had no qualms voting for a party led by a pathological liar, serial adulterer, waster of vast amounts of public money and a man given to casual racism and misogyny, a man whose talent appears to be in inverse proportion to the size of his ego which is fuelled solely by a vaulting sense of entitlement. I've tried to sympathise, I really have but...

I've tried to sympathise, I really have but... You'll find this all over the country ..... people are too quick to make excuses for Johnson and his cohorts. They cant see the wood for the trees and never will. Until this happens in large enough numbers they will continue to be voted in.

Companies are deliberately firing people to rehire them on worse contracts. British Airways and British Gas are the latest companies to do it. [1] For some reason it's legal in this country, but it's leaving thousands of us in the lurch. Companies shouldn't be able to force staff into choosing between worse contracts and being fired. It's illegal in Spain and Ireland. It should be illegal here too. Petition text This petition is to urge the UK government to introduce a law that protects all of us from any unscrupulous companies trying to tear up our contracts, effectively firing us and rehiring us on inferior pay, with worse terms and conditions. It is illegal in Spain and Ireland, with most of Europe having restrictions on the power of bosses. The UK needs to get up to date and protect all workers in all sectors. tinyurl.com/yh43o5kb
