The mighty Levante march on! (Sorry Len - in a not really kind of way!)

The mighty Levante march on! (Sorry Len - in a not really kind of way!) Nice win, good luck in the next round. We were out anyway.

I'm pretty sure it's Real Madrid next, so I'll need all the luck there is!

Here are the Gameweek 2 results:
Saturday
Levante (Epworth) 2-0 Osasuna (eliminated) Elche (eliminated) 1-0 Celta de Vigo (Sandbach) - Celta de Vigo eliminated
Sunday
Atletico Madrid (eliminated) 2-2 Real Madrid (County Benno) Sevilla (Dudley) 1-0 Real Sociedad (Sir Roger) - Real Sociedad eliminated
So, we bid a fond farewell to Sir Roger and...erm... me!
And we have our final three:
Epworth (Levante) County Benno (Real Madrid) Dudley (Sevilla)
As with "The Italian Job", we'll add some eliminated teams in for the final week, so I've re-jumbled up the remainder of La Liga, and you can now choose an extra 2 numbers each for the final week (between 1-17 naturally). We'll go in the order you each reached the final, so it's Epworth to choose his 2 numbers first, then Benno, then Dudley.
Once you have your group of three teams, I'll announce the final weekend's fixtures. And as with The Italian Job (and my latest quiz) you'll score 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and none for a loss, but you'll also get a point for every goal scored.
Ok Eppy, over to you.

Oh, and for what it's worth, had Sir Rog's Real Sociedad managed to find an equaliser, he was slightly nearer on the tie-break so would have gone through to the final. Sorry Rog!

Sorry Rog! ......and if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle. That's right, Mr. S, kick a man when he's down. As it's the winning that matters and not the taking part, and despite the excellent performance last week against, Barca, I've insisted Arrasate be sacked soonest.

Duds - you might as well pick your numbers now as Benno seems to have gone awol! Hopefully he'll be online before I leave the office tomorrow night, otherwise we might have to postpone the final weekend of fixtures to next week.

Oh yes, so he is - I remember him saying in the prediction league now - apologies Benno!
Everyone happy to put this on hold for this week until he gets back?
