Twenty-four hours on from yesterday's freak of an ending - and time to dust ourselves down in readiness for the next challenge.
This happens to be at a ground where County have yet to record a win - although, after beating Chorley for the first time in over a century anywhere, anything is achievable, as we plot our wending, motorway-less route to York Street!
Post all the usual stuff here...

Although Boston have also been on a decent run of late, Greg Smith, who scored an excellent headed goal against us at EP, got a dislocated and fractured ankle yesterday against Gainsborough. So, Boston will have to line up in this one without their leading scorer and head of the attack. St Juste, their left-sided player who, IMO, has been one of the best we've seen this season, wasn't in yesterday's squad so not sure if he's also unfit. Either way, I think we can take 3 pts from this... 2-0 County victory.

Ex-Hatter alert!
We shall have to be on our guard against Lamin Colley... possibly.

Precisely so - and in the last minute, with nothing to play for!

I'll probably make the trip, hopefully more successful than my two previous trips, a 2-1 loss in September 2006 and a 4-0 drubbing December 2015.

Got bored at the in-laws over Christmas, and started messing around with the (admittedly limited) fridge letters they bought from a charity shop for the boys. Fear not, I have nine more of these bad boys to get through before the end of the season...

Fridge letters are ace except for when you forget you've left 'What an excellent day for an exorcism' on the fridge, halfway through the Ofsted visit. Still, we can't all be 'Outstanding' anyway or no-one would believe the ratings!

Gannon is manager of the month for December - you know what that would normally mean! But I'm going to be positive and say we will win 2-1, and if the weather improves this side of the Pennines I shall be there!

I've "more than a feeling" we'll be winning this one 0-1. Danny Lloyd in the 68th minute......FACT!!!

Well done to JG on the MOTM award. Must have almost had Oct's award in the bag too... damn that pesky Kidderminster! His latest interview is HERE and it briefly touches on some thinking, post-Stopforth, that includes dropping Ball back in midfield and re-introducing Marsden.

Well done, Jim - about bloody time! However, there will be no MOTM curse here because Jim Gannon is a footballing God and Gods don't suffer curses!!
