County remain undefeated in 2016, either by way of drawing 0-0 or the game getting postponed!

Never mind further defeats, two more games without a win and Neil can go for me.
He's had more than a fair chance and failed.... miserably.

You really have to put the bottom club away when playing them at home.
No excuses.
The year can only get better.

Telford are bottom of the league... We've now got one win from the last twelve, which was the game where we got two penalties against a team with ten men.
NY has lost control of this completely: He has failed to put together a squad, and he is failing to organize his conveyor belt of loanees and short-term signings (many of whom were signed as cover for the ridiculous number of players who got sent off for stupid lacks of discipline). The board have given him plenty of backing, allowed him to kick out the entire squad and bring in player after player after player. Nobody else is to blame.
I don't see the point in continuing with this approach. Time to go.

I took Sandy Jnr II to his first ever match today.
You can imagine how I'm feeling after that.

This game was supposed to be a family celebration and the first game at EP for my son. Sadly I'm laid up and we've had to postpone. Or should that be thankfully I'm laid up and we've decided to cancel. And do something more enjoyable. Like shooting each other. In the face. With cannons. Wearing Burnley tops

Todays rant v12.0 1 shot in the first 30 minutes! We do not move the ball up quick enough and we let Telford come into the game as they could see we had no idea. Come the second half it was obvious they thought they could beat us and they were right. What was said at half time, like at many half times did not seem to make any difference. Week in week out fans go to the expense of supporting the team home and away only to be served up with utter dross. I dont even bother one of my mates to come as its a waste of £15. This season the matchday experience is nothing short of diabolical. With performances like this how are we supposed to keep our fanbase and increase it. Todays attendance was a very poor 2700+. What will it be next match 2500? Today fan frustration boiled over. This team is NY's team recruited by him and his management team. The team put together is supposed to be capable of promotion and is supposedly better than "last seasons team which were not good enough for promotion". There has been too much bad discipline, too much chopping and changing and too much what could be construed as poor recruitment. There is little stability in the team and little skill or confidence. The alarm bells started ringing for me when he sacked off the whole of last seasons team. How do you build a promotion winning team in 1 season? With a lot of money and a lot of luck. 1 win in 12 games is appalling ,not acceptable & relegation form. Why is he not getting the best out of his players or is this their best. If they are not doing what he is saying they need to go. or is it a case of them thinking what he is saying is not going to work at all? I dont know.... and I'm really get fed up with the catalogue of excuses. I have absolutely no confidence he knows what he is doing and he should do the decent thing and walk so that Lordy (caretaker) has enough time to sort the mess out so we dont face the possibility of a relegation. We can then get a new manager end of the season. This season has been an unmitigated disaster. The planned fans forum should be interesting! Totally fed up and I've not had a beer yet. Yet again I think there may be many who are having to dig deep to find the motivation to turn up to watch our team.

In my opinion it's NY bringing in poor players/not being able to get the best of them. He's used over 30 players and we're just over halfway through the season. I wonder what his previous 'high' was in terms of player signings, and is he going for that record? It's starting to look to me like he's just not up to the job.

if we're going to play the numbers game, gazz, how about his chester team scoring the record number of goals in this division? did he throw out his notes on how to assemble a team between that appointment and this? at least earlier in the season we carried some goal threat, even though we couldn't put the thing away. now we don't even manage threat. one corner each (stat courtesy of macca's report) shows how little attacking intent was provided by the two teams. previously, i had been blaming the forwards. over the last half dozen games in particular though, i've been getting more annoyed with the lack of -anything- from the midfield. in august, i thought rule and montrose looked a combative, effective pairing, and in pre-season, baggie was the stand-out player. now, we either bypass them or get nothing of any creativity out of them whatsoever. what is this tinkerman b*ll*cks? did we line up with three centre halves and a midfielder as our back four today? all that highlights is the inadequacy of NY's signings. danny morton at right back (who my cousin said he saw stomping off out of EP with his bag before kick off)? not good enough apparently. his replacement, dale tonge, not good enough apparently, and on the bench today. you have to replace players who are not performing when you can. you can't have all of them on a rolling week-to-week replacement programme, especially if you don't have an upgrade ready to go. there is no stability. everything has the feeling of being makeshift, with players out of position despite a lack of injury crisis. we're on our fourth goalkeeper of the campaign, fifth if you include ledsham. unlucky with the injury to hurst, but still not sorted it. we need a better one in right now. that has to be ormson's last county game aside from where the number 1 has an in-game injury. despite completely agreeing about some of the treatment of him being a disgrace, i have also maintained that he always has a mistake in him. wasn't cheered by the thought of him playing, but had to catch myself - i was being unfair and he'd probably be perfectly fine. he cost us. again. after the litany of problems caused by fannying around with it in possession already under his belt in his ten or so appearances this season -pointlessly holding onto it for a stupid amount of time at gainsborough and conceding a free kick from which they nearly scored; delaying his kick at solihull, getting tackled and giving away the free kick from which they did score the only game of the game; hitting the ball into the back of one of our defenders with his clearance and putting the opposition through on goal at edgeley; and today, rushing to take his kick when one of their forwards was trying to hassle him, having his kick blocked and trickle into our goal. that list is only game costing/threatening incidents brought about by his decision making in distributing the ball, not the rest of his goalkeeping. the ref adjudged it a foul today, and it maybe was; but it rested on the ref bailing him out rather than him either appealing to the ref that he was being impeded and not taking the kick until he'd done that, or at least changing the direction of his run so that he was able to get his kick away. the winner came from him diving to block when their player wasn't actually running directly towards goal, and was at a tight angle close to the goal line. he dived in, took the ball and then the player, and the ref gave them the pen from which they scored the winner. in ian's favour, it was never a penalty. it was across towards us and he got loads on the ball. but yet again he was reliant on the ref making the right decision and that was completely unnecessary, because he should never have dived in there anyway. absolutely no need given the position of the forward. it was a threatening position, but not an i-have-to-make-a-dramatic-intervention-now-or-this-is-a-certain-goal position. he made the dramatic intervention. we lost the game. against the team bottom of the table. time to go for ian, and getting there for NY too. a mighty chorus of boos, such that i haven't heard for a long time despite the dross we've been experiencing over the last couple of years, rang out at the final whistle. it is starting to seem quite final for a number of them; players and staff. while the highlights aren't up yet, i will now console myself with NY's post-match interview.
