john c reilly really does look like olly in that pic. an olly who has died a mop black to use as his fringe, anyway. i'm sure the leads will do it justice - let's hope everything else does too.

I finally got to watch Atomic Blonde last night on Sky Movies and judge it for myself, and it was a decent watch.
While not particularly the best of storylines, there are some seriously good John Wick-style fight scenes, not least the stairwell sequence which Charlize Theron properly nailed - she really knows how to do that sh*t!
Set in Berlin just before the wall comes down, the 80s soundtrack is almost as killer as she is!
Theron has said that a sequel is in development - bring it on!

I saw it on a plane, gazz, and enjoyed it. Not particularly demanding but good entertainment - which is what it set out to be.
You're right about the soundtrack, too!

We watched that a few weeks ago and thought it was pretty good.
We also watched American Made around the same time, and it completely divided us (I quite liked it and she hated it). Not often a Tom Cruise film goes somewhat under the radar (only came out last year) but I'd say it's worth a watch, even if they have almost completely re-written the true story it's based on!

I saw that myself and enjoyed it too, but he does have a nasty habit of putting out rehashed versions of the stories his movies are based on - Jack Reacher: 'Never Go Back' is another class example of this. If he does indeed bring 'The Midnight Line' to the big screen, he really needs to stay faithful to the original this time, as it is a brilliant story left as it is and the perfect choice for a third movie - all in my opinion, of course!

The first movie was excellent and, with the return of Ivan Drago, the sequel looks very promising:

I watched The Equalizer 2 last night, which is the only time Denzel Washington has ever agreed to do a sequel - I wasn't disappointed.
Yet more grade A arse kicking and definitely worth a watch! I don't know where they'd go with it if he agreed to return for a third outing as Robert McCall, but it'd be interesting to find out.
Move over, Brian Millz - there's another guy in town with a particular set of skillz!

I also watched Identity last night, which is an old John Cusack movie from 2003. It's a very clever script, but unless you concentrate totally for the entire movie and don't live with someone whose phone is constantly f***ing pinging throughout, you'll almost definitely end up asking Google "wtf?" - like me!

well that is marginally more interesting, if venkman's nephew finds the ecto-1 in a barn, or whatever.
