I shall watch the first session as I have the last two days, getting to sleep last night was much easier than the night before, having said that the morning news has been excellent both times. Here’s to three in a row!

Great one dayer at the new stadium in Perth.
A bit worrying in the 48th over when Ball was getting smashed all over but Curran shut them up in the 49th.

Good come back from England after Friday's debacle.
Not seen 8 for 5 since primary school days. Not quite true as Birch Vale 2nd's were once bowled out for 27 and I opened carrying my bat for 17 not out. The whole innings only lasted 14 overs. Away to Compstall. Seem to remember we were 9 for 6 at one stage.

Thank Heaven for Overton - or it would have been less than 28!

Always knew there was something off about Steve Smith. Always came across as arrogant, sly and unsportsmanlike and now he's shown his true colours.
Same too for Cam Bancroft, who played the part of innocent rookie being bullied/intimidated by big nasty Jonny Bairstow this winter, but is now showing he's the next in line to follow down that well trodden path of unsportsmanlike Australians. Less said about Warner and his missus the better.

The thunderous sound of c*cks coming home to roost. All the more pleasurable given the sanctimonious clap-trap that we've been subjected to over the last couple of years. A suitable punishment would involve a public inspection of jock-strap contents prior to each session in the field.

Telegraph reporting Cricket Australia have handed 12 month bans to both Smith and Warner.

Sacrificial Lambs. Lehmann surely knew about that, how could he not?

Lehmann is a total disgrace. I don't think it's any coincidence that the rapid deterioration in the Australian team's behaviour has happened under his watch. I heard a clip of him on the radio this morning, and all he was saying is how they "love all their players", that "they are good people", and how "he's really worried about them in the short term". B*ll*cks to them, they are cheating pr*cks, and deserve all they get. The fact he hasn't condemned them speaks volumes. I also see on the BBC website he has said Australia need to stop 'butting heads' with their opponents. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/43571509 Although I totally agree with the sentiment of that quote (it was evident during the Ashes and now in the test series vs South Africa that the Australians play the game with a nasty edge), I can't help but feel that those words were carefully chosen. They are too close to the Australian propaganda and rhetoric surrounding the Bairstow/Bancroft incident, and Nathan Lyon's dig about Australia 'head butting' the line when it comes to onfield sledging. Even at the most inappropriate time when Australian cricket is involved in a scandal of huge proportions, he still can't help himself taking digs at fellow professionals. His behaviour in light of this incident shows a total disrespect for the sport.
