Next up - the second of four consecutive Saturday League matches at EP, and, hopefully, the start of a useful run of home-form over September!
You know what to do...

Can someone try and persuade a mate to come along to make it 4,000?

can we have a repeat of two seasons ago? 4-0 wasn't it? i'll accept that rhys turner won't be dinking the ball sublimely into the railway end goal, but let's have an easy ride. not like we have them that often.

I hate that gutless little sh*t. scumbag, and f***ing always scores against us, right back to the first day of the season for cov at EP in '01/'02. don't ever want to see his stupid celebratory f***ing jig again.

Horrible little sh*t.
Hope someone hits him with a car and speeds off. I wouldn't even bother chasing the assailant!

Nothing to disagree about, so far as those character assessments are concerned, gents.
What worries me a tad is the effect that Hughes may have on some of some of our hotter-headed players. He is bound to lead with his elbows whenever the opportunity arises, and I just hope to goodness that, if he does, the likes of Rule and Montrose keep their emotions in check...

Well we need to start playing the game. When he leads with elbows go down injured and surround the ref. It's not pretty but it's about time the opposition was on the receiving end of a few reds. I'm sure NY will brief his team on keeping their emotions under control. We all love to see players with passion and fight about them, but they're much more use to us on the pitch. Lee Hughes is a throughly loathsome individual.

Agreed, matey. Let us hope that the whole team has learned something from last Saturday. Had Rule simply gone to ground under what was a horrible challenge, then there would surely have been a straight red for Chalmers... and nothing else.
I am ever the optimist - so that, for me, would be a longer-term positive from what was otherwise a dreadful afternoon!

Disappointing match and result which will do nothing to increase the attendances. 3098 today which is well down.
We lacked creativity, we gave them too much time on the ball, and yes the liners were constantly flagging for offside.
Worcester were a bunch of time wasters, rarely threatened and probably their best player was Danny Jackman.
The performance at Fylde was impressive, so how can we play so poorly today? Early days, we need to stop giving away points, discipline needs to improve & we need an out and out goal scorer..sooner rather than later.

Poor attendance, but looked a lot busier from the CE, and it wasn't helped by the fact Worcester appeared to bring no more than 12.
