This just in from AFC Fylde re` Mondays game.....
Stockport County Game Monday 31st August
The club wish to issue the following information to both sets of supporters prior to Monday’s game against Stockport County
1. Segregation
Firstly there will be no segregation. Last season on police advice we did segregate but there was no trouble and the Stockport fans were well behaved. Also, as we are unable to provide food and drinks for away fans in the ‘segregated area’ we think it is only fair to open up all areas to both sets of fans.
2. Fullers Bar
To improve service we will be operating a one way system in Fullers bar whereby you enter by one door and leave by another which helps to keep the bar area clear and ensure the maximum amount of people can get a drink. The bar will be controlled by stewards to ensure this system works, so we ask for everyone’s cooperation on this. All drinks will be served in plastic glasses.
3. Parking
With regards to parking we are aware that this is a big problem in the surrounding area when the car park is full. On Monday we expect the car park (196 spaces) to be full by 1.45pm latest so if you want secure parking please ensure you get to the ground before this.
The road immediately outside the ground will be coned in accordance with police requests so please don’t park in these areas otherwise you will receive a ticket.
4. Turnstiles
To ensure minimum delay and disruption all turnstiles will be open and away fans are asked to enter through Gates 5-8.
Thanks in advance to everyone for their cooperation.

Helpful details a-plenty above - so, with grateful thanks in advance to Hedgie and Lennie, and given that the trip is less than 48 hours away, I have turned this into the Match Thread.
Post all further thoughts here...

Am I correct in thinking both Hurst and Rule will be available as the suspension won't have kicked in yet?
I'll probably be making use of the courtesy bus from Lytham I think.

Am I correct in thinking both Hurst and Rule will be available as the suspension won't have kicked in yet? That is my understanding, too, matey. Whether both will play is another matter. We are, I fear, going to have to get used to a Rule-less team for a while, especially if the biting claim is substantiated... and NY has already indicated in interview that he may also elect to take some action, in addition to whatever suspension is eventually handed out.

Id be interested to see the incident on Pouchy's match highlights to see if we can make anything out. I'm sure NY will have seen all the footage available to him to make his decision on what action to take. If Rule has indeed bitten the Staly player as alleged, then I don't think we'll see him for a while regardless of whether or not he gets a more severe suspension from the league. Somehow I doubt that is the case, from what I've read/heard it sounds like Staly were trying to stir it up and make it into a story.
We have to put our strongest side out vs Fylde, we need to bounce back and maintain the momentum of our early season results. I'm pleased Hurst will be able to play, and providing Rule has just been sent off for handbags I'd like to see him start too, especially as he only played half an hour of the game yesterday so should be pretty fresh for tomorrow, if his head is in the right place.

Entirely agree with all of that, gts. Good post.
There will definitely be some changes to yesterday's line-up, mind. NY had made that clear before kick-off, given the short turnaround between the two games - and I imagine that this will have been accentuated, with the nine men having had to work even harder than expected. Robinson and Garvin both picked up knocks, courtesy of poor (and, naturally, unpunished) 'Vegas challenges, too...

Sounds like a few regular starters were rested yesterday too? I'm still getting to grips with the new squad but I would imagine players like Odejayi would have started yesterday had we not had another game in 48 hours time.

The feeling with the sendings off is Hurst is a 1 match, Rule, well it's a minimum of 3...could be any amount above that if biting is proven ! Thet won't kick in for a couple of weeks yet, we'll have confirmation this week as to the extent of bans.
With Rule its not beyond doubt NY will add further punishment....will he play tomorrow for starters ?? We'll see...

Having given it some thought, my opinion is that IF he did indeed bite him, then we should get rid. It's not the kind of behaviour I want of a Stockport County player, and if he did it once, who's to say he won't do it again?
That might not sit right with some, but biting is just plain wrong, and it has no place at County. I really hope it transpires that he didn't, because I think he's got some quality about him.
