The rot continues with docile Raab back, and how on earth Braverman returns is an absolute joke. The only positive is Rees-Smug is relegated to the back benches.
And what the hell is wrong with onshore wind farms? They had them in the 80's in Europe. Why are we so far behind?

Probably to preserve his job?And what the hell is wrong with onshore wind farms? They had them in the 80's in Europe. Why are we so far behind?
Maybe because there's not enough profit in them for their offshore bank balances? The grubby Tories have always been the same, they have never done anything without good reason. More often than not, that reason has been for personal gain and nothing more.

Rees-Mogg preserved his job when he moved his company to Ireland just before Brexit. The effing shameless charlatan.

Rees-Mogg preserved his job when he moved his company to Ireland just before Brexit. The effing shameless charlatan. Yep, a fully paid-up member of the ERG - Evil Right-wing Gobshites. In it for himself and nobody else, along with every other member - a nest of vipers. Who actually voted for him is the question I'd like to ask, because he doesn't look like anyone I've ever seen before in normal everyday life, so who can he possibly represent? He has zero interest in serving his constituents, he's in politics for personal gain. For example, If that was our local MP sleeping on the front benches, the residents around here would have stormed his constituency office. The people in his constituency must all be sleeping on beds of money and give zero f***s for the rest of the country, a bit like every Tory MP funnily enough.

And if you think he's an arsehole, take a look at this thorough, and in my mind, entirely justified character assassination. www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/oct/28/rishi-sunak-britain-first-hindu-prime-minister-destroying-tories-pitiful-vision-of-diversityRees-Mogg doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he is, an almost pantomime villain-like caricature Tory. Sunak on the other hand is the perfect embodiment of May's citizen of nowhere, the type of individual who puts himself first, last and at every point in between. The former is a privileged, entitled clown the latter, the perfect leader for the nasty party.

Best out of the country. He will be no great loss to anyone.
Perhaps he could invite a few more to join him. It would be a very long list.

I never watched the programe, I used to leave my ex watching it whilst it did something useful with my time.
The fact that such a despicable, useless, lying, conniving, thieving, incompetent waste of human flesh is considered a ‘Celebrity’ is more damning of Britain than almost anything else.

Give the nurses a proper pay rise and restore the nurses degree bursary you muppets! This is a crisis all of your own making. Nurses are leaving in numbers as they are stressed out and over worked. How in heavens name can there be 50K nurses vacancies? Talk about 12 years + of government mismanagement.
Seriously I know a community nurse who left the profession due to the workload.
Always having to update the visit notes in the evening post shift.
Always having a bite on the move.
If this person was called out for a specialty which could take a few hours no one else took over the delayed appointments.
Travel time between appointments didn't seem to be factored in.
Often accompanied by a trainee who once the training was completed would leave or leave a few months later.
I also know a Doctor who works 12 hour shifts but isn't paid for them. Prep for the next days appointments is done in the evenings off shift. Is it any wonder people burn out.

Prep for the next days appointments is done in the evenings off shift. Is it any wonder people burn out. I suspect that it is quite deliberate. Apparently 1 in 8 people in this country now go private. I think this will continue for most of the next two years (always assuming that the Tory Party hasn't torn itself apart by then) and am expecting announcements that substantial parts of the NHS are to be privatised. The suspicion is that Sunak had already entered into preliminary discussions with a number of US private providers whilst he was chancellor. I wouldn't put it past them if only as an act of sheer spite and as a challenge to the Labour Party as initial architects of the NHS in the immediate post war years. They have form for it. Major's government rushed through the privatisation of British Rail, completely f***ing the service up in the process, in a successful bid to make it so complex that Blair's government wouldn't be able to undo the shambles. A shambles that is unless you are one of the foreign owned franchisees who use the profits they make in this country to subsidise public transport in their own country.

There was an old guy on TV this morning moaning about his cancelled operation, saying that because Nurses are a front line emergency service, they shouldn't go on strike as they're needed.
I wonder if he's thought about the government thinking the same and treating them like sh*t because of that, arrogantly thinking they can get away with it, as Nurses would'nt dare go on strike?
This is all on the government, nobody else. The Nurses are doing what they have to do in order to get what they absolutely, one hundred percent deserve.
@ yorks: of course that's what they're doing. Did you not notice the spate of private healthcare ads that popped up during and after the pandemic? I've no doubt they're kept in the loop by the Tories, no doubt waiting for the contracts you mention, rubbing their hands in anticipation of a dismantled NHS.
It's f***ing disgusting and these strikes are nowhere near enough in my opinion, this needs a NATIONAL walkout to show these parasites that enough really IS enough.

No, he hasn't thought about it and you're right, the Government is banking on that. There are currently 46000+, yep, you read that right over 46000 NHS nursing vacancies as of today. It would never occur to him that there would be every chance of his op being cancelled due to staff shortages exacerbated by and explosion in covid cases this week. A government of f***ing charlatans who long since ceased to govern for the majority. Best of luck to them, I hope they get everything they want. Meanwhile, the tw@'s tw@, Boris Johnson is reported to be raking it in on the speaking circuit and on the back of his failed premiership whilst er, not earning his MP's salary because he, like Hancock is completely awol!

Johnson reportedly earned £1m for 4 (YES FOUR) speeches since the charlatan was binned by the party.
I hope he has the moral compass to donate that to a charity or two of his own choice, such as Crisis or Mental Heath. I will not be holding my breath waiting for confirmation of that.
