f***ing justice!
This American referee is definitely not wanting to give us anything in this game and is letting loads slide from Spain - shocking display.
The Spanish number 14 is worse than Pepe, she's one cheating, diving bugger and the referee keeps falling for it.

Another blatant, cynical foul goes unpunished, this Referee is appalling.

Out and out cheats, nothing more to be said. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the Spanish.

Beaten by the better side, sadly. Too many stray passes and we gave too much room to the Spanish. Disappointing overall. Now sort out the bonuses and pay for our players, and sack Infantino who is so out of touch.

Once again a victory for talent, with more than just a hint of dishonesty. Poor performance from England, though, what is it with us and major finals in football? Spain were the better team, but they're also extremely adept with their histrionics, which makes it an even more bitter pill to swallow. The less said about that referee, the better, she was absolutely f***ing awful - I can't help thinking that some of her decisions were made out of spite. Finally, football can f*** off for me, because all it does these days it make me f***ing angry!

I just think their coach did his homework, mate and, coupled with the darker side of the Spanish game, really did a number on us. I was all for keeping the winning side too, but maybe James should have started this one? Infantino is just another FIFA gobshite who will be gushing at yet another England failure.

We deserved nothing ultimately from the game. The change to bring on James and Kelly lost all our shape and we rarely threatened the Spanish goal.
¡Vamos España!
And as for Infantino…

We deserved nothing ultimately from the game. I'm going to have to argue that we did at least deserve something, Duds - a better referee. She was appalling, mate and, divided loyalties aside, you surely can't defend the playacting from some of the Spanish team - not least Codina. Then there was Paralluelo kicking the ball away when already on a yellow, the referee totally bottled out of that decision - she should have seen a second yellow for that. Had that been an England player on a yellow, she'd have one hundred percent given her a second one. Spain deserved to win, but they didn't cover themselves in glory on the sportsmanship front, their behaviour was seriously poor at times. In other news, I bet you're getting something nice for your tea today!

Congratulations to Spain, who were, by a distance not reflected by the scoreline, the better side on the day.
That we played such a poor collective first half was the biggest disappointment for me, though it was a shock to see some of our most established players have a terrible time out there.
However, to win the Euros and make a WC final has meant the public's joy and respect in the Lionesses has thankfully been reflected in the medal department... even if it'll take some time to get over falling short today.

Congratulations to Spain, who were, by a distance not reflected by the scoreline, the better side on the day. Most definitely, H, some of their football was just too good for us, so don't get me wrong - their football alone deserved the win. It's the other stuff that cast a bit of a shadow on it for me. If they had just stuck to the football and taken us to the cleaners, I'd have held my hand up and said well played, but they didn't. The best team won, but I'm not congratulating them, because they took the piss. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I don't tolerate cheating or gamesmanship of any kind. I just don't get why there's been no mention or acknowledgement of them throwing themselves to the ground at the slightest touch, either here or in any reports by the media. We can't just ignore it, because it was happening. Would we have brushed it aside had this been County? Exactly. I'm not having a pop at anyone here, I just want to get my point across that Spain didn't play in the best of spirits for that entire game with the sole purpose of frustrating and unsettling us - had the referee got a grip of it earlier, we may have fared a little better.

Milan's 'keeper was sent off against Genoa and with no sub left to play, Giroud had to go in goal. At the death he pulled off a great bit of goalkeeping and, as a result, the official site now has him listed as a 'keeper, wearing the respective kit: www.acmilan.com/en/teams/men-first-team/all(A rare game where both 'keepers were sent off too)
