Not a huge amount of coverage of England U21 Euro win. Not televised until C4 picked up the final.
BBC Sport don't seem to care and not a lot of other coverage.
A fantastic result and first win since 84. It was a really good game (despite the play acting on both sides and a card-happy ref).

All the Spain games were shown live on free tv here. And I believe the name Bellis links the young man to our own Steve as a nephew.

I think it's about time we binned off penalty shootouts, even though we won our game against Nigeria on Monday on penalties, they're a horrible way to decide a match, especially after 120 punishing minutes of football where one team has totally dominated the other - like Nigeria did against us.
There's enough money in the game to pay someone to come up with a suitable alternative. How about encouraging attacking football by using a boxing-style points system, where instead of punches landed they use shots on target as one of the factors to determine the winner at the end of 120 minutes?
That alone would surely see more games being decided within the allotted outfield playing time. Bookings could also be included in the scoring, along with red cards, which should also do more to encourage fair play than a few banners and a f***ing armband ever has!
Whatever they'd come up with, it'd surely be better than the current penalty shootout method.
It's needs changing, because penalties are cruel and unfair on the players - not to mention the bloody fans!

This stoppage time is an absolute farce too, clearly just for drama and nothing more.
Why is it that FIFA f*** around with everything but the things that really matter to us? Oh, of course, it's all about what suits them best - the moolah!

England in yet another major Semi-final, get in!
Had to be the f***ing Aussies, though, didn't it. I think we can expect a complete homer set of officials in that one, I've absolutely no doubt about that.
After the Ashes loss we really can't let them have this one too, so we need to be at our very best to make sure we knock them out in front of their own crowd - come on, England!

If anyone saw today’s semi final between Spain and Sweden you were treated to some quality goals. Watching as I did on Spanish TV the joy after the first goal; then the panic as VAR reviewed; followed by the “we are only five minutes from our first final. Then Sweden score their equaliser, for me the best of the three goals, she controlled it so well. Then before we could breathe the Spanish winner! Tomorrow I shall be watching England in the city centre bar with some friends, if they win then I cannot lose on Sunday!
