Out of the Cheshire Senior Cup we may be, but Saturday offers a chance to put one over the recent winners of the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy.
Oh, and to leapfrog them in this Conference North thingy!
Keep it here for posting your rants, theories, etc...

1-0 County backed by a bumper crowd of 30+ Norwegians!

Saw Chorley twice in the past few days. Very physical direct side. James Dean is a handful, for a bloke so big he's got good feet too. I predict a tough encounter and a close 2-1 win. Crowd 2980.

I would love to see a County win, but with the squad being depleted I'll settle for a score draw. 2999 attendence and 85 pies sold in the CE.

I think I'll watch NLRs highlights from the Chorley v Clitheroe game for some insider information

1-2 defeat Jack Ryan with County's goal. att 2730 unfortunately, ^that's altogether too plausible, although i'm not sure we'll score.

Seemed like a fair result and could have been much worse but for Hurst.
Good chance to bounce back next week though.

Actually my first report says it all
3/4 outstanding saves from Hurst. We offered nothing. Not sure why Wilkinson is on the pitch.

Actually my first report says it all 3/4 outstanding saves from Hurst. We offered nothing. Not sure why Wilkinson is on the pitch. Moke & Hiward contributed more than Wilkinson. I was glad when he came back but it's just not happening. He is too lightweight and the midfield create nothing. It was County Youth 0 charley 2. Not sure where Jacobs and Sharp were today but Lofthouse Hampson Russell Connor and Laze bury are all apprentices and learning. Would have been worse today without Hurst and O Halloran. Our goal difference is +1 which shows where the problems are; midfield lack of creativity and strikers off target too often. On today's showing unfortunately I think we will struggle against Hyde. Injuries have killed our season.. Only positive is the juniors are gaining more experience. Update read elsewhere that the senior players not playing today are all injured so it looks like Lordy didn't have much choice in picking the team. Hole we can bounce back against Hyde.

Spot on, ceefer - the injury-list is quite extensive right now, comprising:
Benjamin Churchman Dennis Fagbola Gregson Jacobs Murray Sharp Spencer Woolfe
Ryan went off today, too, with the effects of concussion.

Wouldn't it be nice to see Dan Murray before the season finishes. We never really got to see if he was any good. He could be the answer to our midfield woes, we never know.
