14 hours ago ReplyQuotePost by ceefer on 14 hours ago Great stuff Collinge... must of been difficult... It was, Ceefer, but it must have been excruciating listening to how I slipped them in! Ryan should have been sent off for his punch which happened dead level from where the commentary team were sitting. The second booking tackle didn't merit a booking, IMHO, but it was still a bit tasty and he/we argue with the decision. As Wenger always says 'I didnt see' the Ryan punch, and I was really sceptical that his second yellow was deserved. Really annoying as we now lose him for 3 vital matches... Sharp to the rescue?

Given that Ryan was dismissed with two yellow cards, as opposed to a straight red, we shall only be without him for one game, I think.
Collinge is quite right about the thrown punch, though. From where we were sitting in the press box, it should have been an early bath after the first offence.

Very anti-County!! On the very few occasions we get some national coverage it is for bad things!! Apart from Spencer's FAT goal I suppose.

I've written a complaint to that corporation of TV licence swindlers peddlers, but no doubt due to their 'unique way of funding' my email will be going straight into the trash folder.
We should all boycott them online, that article is the kind of red top tabloid sensationalist claptrap that belongs in The S*n newspaper, right next to their claims that David Cameron has 'put millions back into work.'
Little bit of politics there, Ladies and Gentlemen, yes indeed...
Seriously though, I've read some sh*te in my time, but that 'reporter' shouldn't even be writing for a school news letter. What happened to impartiality and balance?
I hope the club have taken steps, because this could damage us in terms of being able to attract sponsors and investors. A bit extreme? I don't think so, I believe it could.

Good on you, gazza - although, presumably, the Corporation's defence will be that the report emerged through BBC Hereford & Worcester, and was bound therefore to have a local bias.
No chance, either, I imagine, of BBC Manchester seeing its way clear to presenting events from a different angle, eh?!
And I imagine that you are right about the potential effects on our reputation. I shall be asking colleagues at the Club tonight about what is planned, or being done, by way of action to redress the balance...

Good man Gazza!
Great stuff, Maccy! At least some people at this club are taking positive action!
Typical beeb, sensationalist sh*te with only one side of the story.
