Difficult to read at the moment. Smoke and mirrors I think.
It will all by about extracting the last possible penny from the club, in what ever way and piss off the fan base at the same time.

It's the AFC Blackpool Presentation Night and they have donated 3 trophies to the Walking Football Group !!!
Nothing to do with Blackpool FC (apart from the venue).

Pool start the season with 7/8 trialists and youth players in the first pre-season games and resorting to picking up anyone without a club/contract or the games bad boys and journeymen. Cue a bad start to the season, manager blames Chairman for not backing him and staring at the foot of the table at Christmas.
Sound familiar ?

somewhat, lennie. my dad's been saying since early last season that they will just drop straight through league one. not definite, but it's certainly a possibility. and -again- this is what i don't get about the oystons. why didn't they just move the club on when it still had some cachet? i know they've got the conference rooms and is it nhs offices from the redevelopment(?), but in letting the most public part of their investment fall to rack and ruin i just can't see what they think they can get out of it on an ongoing basis.

Seems to me that he/they are now running the club out of pure spite, I wouldn't be surprised if they're now looking to take it as low as they can before relinquishing control, just to prove a point.
Where were Blackers when Oyston came in? Is that where they're intent on leaving them before they depart?
