not the precise way i thought the world cup in qatar would be a f***ing disaster, but still.
interesting to note how quiet this thread's been since old septic was put out to pasture. even this is a legacy story - his bent and parasitic legacy.

They have released the whole report. Apparently we are guilty of bribery because we tried to offer the Thais a friendly two weeks before the vote and when we realised they didn't support us withdrew it three weeks later.

Great piece from Marina Hyde in The Guardian... Fifa lets Qatar 2022 sail on, its moral lines in the sand still on the horizon "The only bidding process with less integrity than any Fifa bidding process is the one between rival cartels for ownership of a rookie Mexican police officer."www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jun/28/fifa-qatar-2022-world-cup-marina-hyde?Why did they bother getting rid of Blatter? Nothing has changed.

And there will be those who wonder why I'll be paying more attention to the Cricket this summer than the football, a truly ugly game at times.

It’s the brazen way in which they flaunt their disregard for rules, laws and the game that truly staggers me.

Because jail's for little people mate, the likes of you and me. Finance Directors of businesses like Carillion, well, they can get away with bent accounting practice that lines their pockets with hundreds of thousands while their contractors end up losing millions when it all goes tits up. Remember Fred Goodwin? CEO of RBS that gambled its profits away, in addition to yours and my taxes that were needed to bail it out? Lost his knighthood, f*** me! Can you imagine the shame? The likes of Sir Philip Green didn't even lose that! Despite 000's losing their jobs and pensions when it was discovered that £571m, that's worth saying again..... £571m was found to be missing from pension funds oh sorry let me park my cynicism for a moment, a £571m black hole in the pension fund, there you are see, just a little black hole, a small act of God, nothing could have been done about it guv, not my fault blah, blah f***ing blah. In 2016 something like 90 people were sent to prison for not paying their tv licence! That's little people like you and me. But then we don't fill political party's coffers with our ill gotten gains, nor are we invited to advise Government on how to rig the system in our favour by incompetent Old Etonians masquerading as Prime Ministers!

Your rants are always right on the money, mate - brilliantly put! You really should be writing your own blog or writing a column somewhere.
