Absolutely disgraceful. I reckon the next World Cup bidding process will be an interesting one, but what's the betting that nothing changes. We'll no doubt see another load of crooks trousering a tidy little retirement fund for awarding it to one of the dwarf planets in the F**KING Kuiper belt!

More dawn raids on FIFA officials: Swiss authorities have arrested several soccer officials in a new wave of dawn raids, widening the ongoing corruption investigation of soccer's world governing body, FIFA. It is reported more than a dozen individuals are expected to face charges following the latest arrests, many of which took place in the same luxury hotel in Zurich which was the site of raids in May. Honduran Alfredo Hawit and Paraguayan Juan Angel Napout were among those arrested, according to New York Times sources. Mr Hawit is the president of CONCACAF, the regional confederation that includes North and Central America and the Caribbean, while Mr Napout is the president of the South American federation, CONMEBOL. The troubled organisation said in a statement it would co-operate with separate investigations by US and Swiss authorities. "FIFA became aware of the actions taken today by the US Department of Justice," FIFA's statement said. "FIFA will continue to co-operate fully with the US investigation as permitted by Swiss law, as well as with the investigation being led by the Swiss Office of the Attorney General. "FIFA will have no further comment on today's developments." www.abc.net.au/news/2015-12-03/more-fifa-bosses-arrested-in-swiss-pre-dawn-raids/6999322

Good news, and now Blatter and Platini will continue their fight through the courts... time for FIFA to fold and to start a new organisation. That would put a stop to any legal action.
Or second scenario if Blatter fails maybe he'll try and bring down the rest....
