Right then, let's have some results shall we?
Friday 21st November
Metz (Mrs Macc) 2-3 Paris St Germain (Big Fudge) - Mrs Macc eliminated
Saturday 22nd November
Bastia (Dudley) 0-0 Lyon (Sir Roger) Guingamp (Bradninch) 0-1 Rennes (Market Harborough) - Bradninch eliminated Lorient (countyfan) 1-0 Lens (Archie) - Archie eliminated Monaco (BBLW) 2-2 Caen (Epworth) Nice (Calliope) 0-0 Reims (Macc Jnr)
Sunday 23rd November
Nantes (ceefer) 0-0 St Etienne (Shropshire) Montpellier (Hatter in Macc) 2-0 Toulouse (gts) - gts eliminated Marseille (Sirius) 3-1 Bordeaux (Gazza) - Gazza eliminated
So, we say an immediate farewell (and thanks) to Mrs Macc, Bradninch, Archie, gta and Gazza.
4 more players will be joining them shortly as everyone involved in a draw now has to enter the tie-break decider. Which is:
What will be the attendance at MK Dons v Rochdale tomorrow night? Guesses by 5pm tomorrow please!
Those involved are: Dudley, Sir Roger, Lennie, Eppy, Callope, Macc Jnr, ceefer and Shropshire. Whoever is farthest away in each pair from the attendance will also be eliminated.
I'll then reveal the results and the next round of fixtures, when we welcome ars and Downy into the competition, on Wednesday.

The attendance at MK Dons v Rochdale last night was 6,720. I've set out below the fixtures that ended in a draw, and next to each name I've put how far away that person was from the attendance. Congratulations to Shrops who was just 16 over, but even bigger congratulations to Calliope who was astonishingly only 6 away from getting the attendance spot on! Here are the results:
Dudley (+4,703) v Sir Roger (+249) - Dudley eliminated BBLW (+1,333) v Epworth (+1,288) - BBLW eliminated Calliope (+6) v Macc Jnr (+2,322) - Macc Jnr eliminated ceefer (-3,561) v Shropshire (+16) - ceefer eliminated
So we say goodbye to Dudley, Lennie, Macc Jnr and ceefer. Thanks for playing chaps, and well done to the other 4 who progress through to the next round.
Update and fixtures to follow....

Here are the teams still left in the competition:
Paris St Germain (Big Fudge) St Etienne (Shropshire) Nice (Calliope) Caen (Epworth) Lyon (Sir Roger) Lorient (countyfan) Marseille (Sirius) Rennes (Market Harborough) Evian Thonon Gaillard (Another Ruined Saturday) Montpellier (Hatter in Macc) Lille (Downy)
And here are the next set of fixtures for Gameweek 2:
Friday 28th November
Marseille (Sirius) v Nantes (eliminated)
Saturday 29th November
Paris St Germain (Big Fudge) v Nice (Calliope) Caen (Epworth) v Montpellier (Hatter in Macc) Rennes (Market Harborough) v Monaco (eliminated) Toulouse (eliminated) v Lorient (countyfan)
Sunday 30th November
Bordeaux (eliminated) v Lille (Downy) Evian Thonon Gaillard (Another Ruined Saturday) v Guingamp (eliminated) St Etienne (Shropshire) v Lyon (Sir Roger)
Remember, if your team are now playing a team who have already been eliminated, a draw will be sufficient to see you safely through to the next round. If any of the fixtures featuring two teams still in the competition end in a draw, they will go to another tie-break.
Next round of results to be published on Monday.

Speaking with Hubert Fournier, the Lyon manager, earlier today, he was pleased with his team's performance at the weekend. He knew the opposition would make the job a difficult one and was happy with a draw there. He was rather concerned about my prediction, but when I explained we'd got through, he was most grateful.
He has a full strength side for yet another away trip and pointed out "Alexandre Lacazette has tweeked a muscle in opening his wallet, but should be fit; he's a goal scorer and we need him". He went on to say " we know it's going to be a hostile environment on Sunday, Galtier will have his side up for the fight, but we'll go there optimistic that we can continue our good start to the season".

Unlucky Len - looks like it was a case of who was the least worst in predicting!
Well, Monaco Away and I'm saying in France for a second week - definitely wasn't expecting that!
