Right back at ya, Gazz-man, and hope you are soon feeling better. Thanks, too, for putting up the CH HNY banner. Cracking job, as ever!

Vielen Dank, Eppers! Looks nice. And it contains their best song in Incubus Succubus. Will check it out further...

New single from James, with an album 'Yummy' slated for a 12th April release - I really, really like this:

It's new addition time again, and this time it's one of my very favourite albums ever, comprising some of the finest songwriting you'll find anywhere. Although it's not the original 1989 release which carried a different artwork, I bought this 1990 version on CD back in the day and I think the artwork on this release is much better - what can I say, I'm a stickler for aesthetics! Action photo - move over, Ceef! This one is as near to Mint as I've had so far, an absolutely pristine copy that sounds fantastic!

Recently discovered the Song Exploder podcast. Lots of interviews with song writers explaining their songs.
The Teacher by Foo Fighters is very good. Started in 2014, so loads of songs, big variety.

Last night, Mini-Herm saw The Pharcyde and their support, Lords of the underground, in Manchester. Imani signed his T-shirt and had a photo, so it sounds like a good night was had!

And last night, rolling back the years into the '80s, my Maccette daughter was moshing in Manchester to The Jesus & Mary Chain!

Latest addition incoming....
'I can't stand up for falling down' by Elvis Costello & The Attractions.
"So what?" I hear you say, but this one's a little different. It's the version that was pressed on the 2-Tone label, before Elvis' record label WEA kicked off about it and forced its withdrawal before it could be released.
The first pressings were given away at gigs in London and New York, as were the second pressings which were apparently sanctioned by Elvis' manager Jake Riviera - I've got a copy of the second pressing as the first pressings are like rocking horse sh*t.
The actual story behind it is vague at best, but all I know is that - as a 2-Tone collector - this has been on my vinyl bucket list for some time!
Price? I'm not going to say, but it wasn't cheap!
I'll post photos when it gets here.
