Another disappointing loss for the Canucks, 2-0 up, then pegged back to 2-2, only to regain the lead and then concede in the last 2 minutes before losing it in Overtime, whilst it was a positive point at Anaheim one of the best teams in the league, it's annoying to have been so close to a win and then only come away with 1 point!
The good news, Manchester Phoenix have gone back top of the league after a 6-3 home win over Swindon!

Ugh.........losing 1-0 after 1 period, it'll be incredibly hard to come back, Pittsburgh are amazing!

After 2 periods it's 2-1 Pittsburgh, they were 2-0 up but strong showing got it back to 2-1

I don't even know how to explain the 3rd Period........Canucks tie it up and then with about 7 minutes left we score 2 goals in 17 seconds to unbelievably go 4-2 up, only to then concede 2 goals within 16 seconds and end up losing on the shoot-out!
Great game for the neutral, heart breaking for Canucks fans, still a very good point against a top team!

Any chance of posting the tables, fudgie? Keep the thread up to speed with where Canucks are and where they need to be and by when?
Cheers.

Canucks finally get a win in 2014, 2-1 over the in-form St. Louis Blues, a great result. As per Gazza's request here is the table, we are in the Pacific Division, if you are in the top 3 of your division you will make the playoffs, then the next 2 highest teams from the 2 divisions will make the playoffs via a Wild Card spot, so as you can see we're currently in a playoff place as the highest team not in the top 3 of our division, it is the same system in the Eastern conference. Excellent, cheers, Fudgie.
So at worst Canucks have to just keep Coyotes at arm's length to get into the play-offs?

Exactly mate, but we're only 2 points from LA Kings so we could make the automatic zones yet
