Jim was systematically stifled out of that job, and I really don't think that him losing the dressing room was the issue, it was more to do with the bunce 'n' bantz bunch losing him in my opinion.

I don't think he had lost the team: They battled on Boxing Day and he had even got Nolan playing well after a spell of showing him who was boss.
I think if they had allowed Jim to strengthen with 2 or 3 players -- or even ONE GOALKEEPER, he would have kept us up comfortably. The contracts handed out to the Scouse Mafia meant it was always going to be a long rebuilding job. The board strangled Jim of the resources he needed, our Chairman publically made it known that he was waiting for an excuse to sack him, and a small minority of big talkers in the Main Stand were criticising everything he did as if he had squandered a huge transfer budget on scouse scallies.

Fearn wanted Jim out and with the help of Snape and the 'puppet', he got his way.
However, Jim has unfinished business at this Club and am as sure as eggs is eggs, he'll be back to finish it off someday.
As I said on an earlier occasion, it's imperative we find out what Fearn's intentions are and ultimately, a satisfactory outcome to the ongoing debacle with the 'unclean', sorry I mean the 'silent'
McKnight's imminent departure is great news and the first positive step, in what seems an eternity, to help bring the Club back to some semblance of respectability.
His tenure here has been an unmitigated disaster.

His tenure here has been an unmitigated disaster. Correct. I hope he reads that.

The question on many people's lips is why it took so long. Fearn? Cuedos to the MMB petition.
Lets hope that this heralds a new future if the club actually follow thru with the inactive shareholders this time.
What are your intentions Mr Fearn?
