As always, the mud slinging is there for everyone to see. This is why I always said that any organisation such as the co-op should remain silent on any message board until meetings have taken place and finer points ironed out. Then, and only then should they be limiting themselves to announcements on the boards to give everyone an update.
They're just showing the shareholders that there is no real togetherness, and that the bickering continues. While this is going on the owners of the club will not take them seriously. I said this at the beginning, no discussion regarding co-op policies should ever take place online, there should be meetings and mailshots to give members the chance to agree on any initiatives such as this, then when a majority decision is reached, announce it on the boards. When I join an organisation I expect unity and diplomacy, right now threads like that are displaying the polar opposite.

When I join an organisation I expect unity and diplomacy, right now threads like that are displaying the polar opposite. A great initiative and it really takes the biscuit when those giving and organising are given a lot of stick. I haven't joined the Co op and won't until its clear what they stand for. There are supposed to be development funds but nothing on the website unless I am blind and an EP buy back fund. It is really sad to see so much vitriol on MMB. I hope the player funding remains and the directors match the funds raised by the fans. Maybe channel through HTH, with any profits thru eventual transfer fees being split 50/50 if there is equal funding fans/directors . Yes we need to have a EP buy back fund with a clear exam action of its objectives and how the funds will be ring fenced and protected. Imagine if this had been started 2 or 3 years ago how much would have been raised . I just don't see ownership of EP happening unless the fans raise the money. If it was going to happen the shareholders would have done it already.

Taking one or two a bit of time to grasp the nettle though. I'll see how well this gets off the ground first before I even contemplate backing it. What they need to realise though is that, although Red Hatter read it wrong, his comment regarding fans already funding the club is spot on. We're basically being expected to pay more to watch county this year. Take STs for example, anyone who donates 10 quid a week to this fund (extreme example but just illustrating a point) is effectively paying almost double for their ST, half up front, the other half by direct debit over the course of the season. A more realistic example, how many of our ST holders would still have renewed, maybe even thought twice about it this season if the club had decided to put them up by say £2 a game and promised the profits to Alan Lord's budget? I know that's a simplistic view, but it's a valid one in my opinion. Some fans will (and they have a right to) take Red Hatter's viewpoint, why should the fans fork out more to cover the failings of our millionaire owners. That's not strictly my personal view, I'm just playing Devils advocate.

3 players brought in so far.... I know we need quality players for the first team and a development squad but when we hear that Briggsy has bought in 11 players to Vegas it makes you wonder what's going on or whats not going on at County.
I just hope we are not missing the boat ....think it would be a good time for an update from the club as 1 striker is clearly not good enough ....

Yes, why not broadcast who we want to sign? There was an update (presumably club sanctioned) in the last week in the MEN about which positions Lordy was prioritising. Looking back, Jevons signed on June 20th and Rhys Turner on the 28th so it's hardly panic stations time. Most players became out of contract on 31st May and a good few will have taken a holiday.
