C is for communication
Communicate is what you do to keep your customer / fanbase up to date with what's happening at the club. That way you feel part of the club.
During the season we have Pure Radio, the match day programme , Dan P s excellent video highlights, COWS, twitter, MEN, advertiser, email Close season we have COWS, twitter and email.
The question i have is why if we have a communications director is the communications in the close season so bad?
There are major issues that need resolving and we hear nothing. We only hear something when they want our financial support.
Total lack of respect shown by not even thanking Moke for playing. Some like him and some didn't but the only way we knew was from his twitter. If you treat players like that where does that leave the fans?
This club could really go somewhere if they got the basics right and made the fans feel valued. Unfortunately I believe that word isn't in their dictionary.
They need to get their act together sooner rather than later.
Rant over.

agreed ceefer - there are presumably other players who have left the club and the communications are rubbish on two fronts: we as fans want to know what's going on with it, and there should be a 'thanks for their service' kind of article. it's a pretty basic expectation. it's particularly easy to put that together as well - much less thinking required than a boardroom update.
