Must be manager of the year , limited budget , reached a major cup final , great footballing side , draw at city , beat united twice , , performed a miracle to stay up , doesn't come out with bs in his post game interviews like morinho , and isn't he a distant relative of Danny ?

I like Poyet, top man. That said, it has to be Tony Pulis for me, matey. He took over at Palace with just 4 points in the bag. If he doesn't get it then maybe Poyet should, but it has to go to Pulis before anyone else in my opinion, regardless of his style of football. The work he did at that club is nothing short of phenomenal. Welcome back, btw, mate, you've been missed.

Welcome back JD!
Poyet plays football the right way and is a model manager. I still think you'd have to say the one thing that'll probably prevent him winning it is as good as his run in has been. He'll probably miss out due to the relatively poor season he had after taking over.
I really like the guy and would begrudge him the award. I like Gazza though would have to give it to Pulis. The work he did was nothing short if phenomenal.
I'd also consider Brendan Rogers after taking an unfancied Liverpool team that has spent modest sums of money to the rest of the contenders and making them genuine title contenders through a mix of young prospects, cheapish signings and old heads.
Steve Bruce at Hull has done very well. Has kept them up without ever being dragged into a desperate relegation scrap via the FA Cup Final.
Roberto Martinez at Everton has lost arguably the best player in Fellani (he was great for Everton) and has managed to get Everton back in to Europe and even briefly upset Arsenal and threatened to destroy their top 4 ever-presence.
