Clue 1
I left the Riverside Stadium and headed back the way I'd come, re-joining the A1(M) and then M1.

Clue 2
I headed south, past the M62 and towards the East Midlands. I saw signs for Derby and Nottingham, then Leicester, but kept going.

That's right, I went to Vicarage Road, Watford!
Remarkably, following a complete guess on Day 1 (when I was, you will remember, still in the North East!) we do have someone who scored the maximum 5 points this week - Lennie! That does indeed put him, as he put it, 'back in the game'! It doesn't put him top, however, after strong scores from Maccy and Archie give them the top two spots respectively.
Here's the table at the end of Week 2:
1. Hatter in Macc 8 2. Archie 7 3= BBLW 6 Epworth 6 5= Calliope 4 Market Harborough 4 7= Down Under 3 Shropshire 3 9= Bradninch 2 Gazza 2 Sir Roger 2
You should all now have TS and WD towards the final bonus ground.
See you Monday morning for Week 3... wonder how many more weeks are to go?!

I'd like to point out that a) I've been on nights and missed a few days worth of guesses in the process, and b) On some occasions my phone has been my only access to maps, and my map reading skills are appalling at the best of times.
I'd probably still be bottom regardless, but you have to try don't ya!

I also promised you I'd issue a public apology if anyone got 5 points this week... consider it issued!

Sorry about the 5 points (well not really as I ballsed up last week). It was a complete shot in the dark based around an educated guess on the bonus ground (which I got spectacularly wrong !!!).
Good one this, which could go to the wire !! Nice one, Sandy.

If you're a betting man, the bearded lady from Austria is a snip at 10 to 1...:-)

The bushy one is now 2nd fav @ best price of 3 to 1.
For those who have placed a bet, I hope she doesn't balls it up.

The bushy one is now 2nd fav @ best price of 3 to 1. For those who have placed a bet, I hope she doesn't balls it up. My son described "him/her" as looking like Stacy Solomon after a drunken night out, and friends having taken advantage of her comatose state with a black marker pen !!
